Does Joymax ban legits?

Just to clarify.. All characters were ran on seperate Pcs with no special loaders ( otherwise what is the point). My intention was to disprove the random banning rumors. None were lvled by botted characters. As I don't play any longer my point in making the post on SRO official was to point out that there is/was a problem. Like the Website authentication sql injection issue joymax will only act and accept responsibility when confronted with overwelming demands to fix its issues.

Just a side note, Whatever you may infer or assume about my high lvl characters, they are parked at lvl 90 in retirement. I have been investigated for botting twice and never recieved a ban of any sorts other that a spam ban for Announcing that there will be 30% more gold left on the ground in the caves just before a 30% more event. (giggle)

As for Darkies bs, he was always intimidated and maybe a little green with my characters after I caught him in a questionable positon with a large outcropping in the archers. You will note that he does not play the game anymore and just sticks around to attack others. "No one cares what you think Jackal, no one ever did. You were just one of the snot nosed little dramaqueens we have all come to know and love while playing this game."

I don't think its just inactive accounts, unless theres some kinda lvl restriction or something.

Probably just those inactive that actually used bots and w/e or just don't buy silk, cus i've had an account from back at the 60 cap with a character never even played on since, just used for holding stuff at the time, not banned though.

Also wrong. My very first account I made way back when Jackal and I started (2-3 days sro first opened) is still unbanned and no silk has ever been purchased on it. Not to mention 3-4 other accounts I made with no silk when I was testing classes. So that's obviously not true lol People need some better excuses for their dirty deeds ^^

Well, i know my experience or opinion wont matter much, but here's my two cents:
Joymax banned me. Clean as this. Am i pissed off? Of course! And i dont care about flaming or trolling, but ill just say it, hard as it is, and wether you believe it or not: I dont nor didnt use Bot. Nor 3rd party program. Nor Pk2 editing. Nor anything else you want to throw at me.

I dont know how to use bots, i never even downloaded or seen a program like that. I dont know how to use Pk2 editing, i'm a total n00b at programming. I dont spend 20/24h a day on a town stalling, or even logged on game. I had this char like 3-4 months ago, and never bought silk, and as far as i know, buying silk isnt a mandatory thing to play the game. I have other 3 chars on other servers, that i havent used for over 2 years, and neither one of them got banned.

I know i look just like another n00b whinning around, crying about his old char, but i dont care. All i care, and know about, is that i never went against the rules, and still got punished. Im still trying to reach Joymax, but cant seem to find any other means, other than submiting Bug Reports. If anyone knows any email trough where i can reach Joymax, i'd be very thankful.

Sorry for the long post, but just to conclude:
Does Joymax ban legits? Yes.
And dont come telling me that you're legit too, and never got banned. I know you are legit, you just weren't unlucky so far to get banned, and i really hope you never do.

I'm getting fed up with people telling other people what you get banned for. The only people that know why they ban people is Joymax. We know the basics. If you bot - you get banned... that's how it seems to work. As of all this 'inactive for 6 months' and 'in town for a certain amount of time'.... that's all bullshit, seriously. Joymax lost my groups monthly ransom (silk) consisting of 5 longterm players each with min of 5 accounts (we even put ticket and silk on our bards / buffers) spending aprox 200 usd per account. We used to really enjoy the game and did not mind forking over our play money to help support the game.

Sirshadow is one of the biggest botters on xian, and the biggest bser i've seen really >.>, he cant pvp without all his alts sitting in safezone buffing him lol, and yes hes got tons of alts, anyone from xian knows the truth, of course he has no friends~ lol.

yea kinda like simhon...he bots up new chars with silk to the point they can get astrals for 76+ weapons/gear n stuff then puts like 1000 usd in silk for astrals then chargeback....repeat.

Here's the deal- we (mostly I) don't expect anyone to care about an unfair ban received. But certain people in this community INSIST that everyone on those ban lists are somehow non-legit or must have done something against Joymax's TOS because their name appeared on a bot ban list. So when no one is providing us any answers as to why we received our bans, and people start questioning our legit status in game, it's pretty damn annoying to be labeled a 'bad player' by a community for something that isn't even our fault.

What can you do when a community that was once trusted quietly labels them a bad apple simple because of unorthodox banning methods used by the game company?

I don't know why so-and-so's 2 year old inactive character isn't banned. I don't know why your 100 stalling accounts aren't banned. Hell, I don't even know why some town spammers still have not gotten banned, or why the obvious level 75 goldbot going back and forth to Takla is still not baned either. All I know is that a character I spent my time grinding got banned without a warning and it happened to not have silk purchased. That is how speculations begin.

I think you're taking my point out of context. I agree with you, that's why I slated Joymax's management abilities. Also, that wasn't the main point I was trying to make. The main one I was trying to get across is that everyone is making up reasons as to why other people were banned, when really they dont have a clue.
