how do you scan a download to see if there's a virus and what not in it? i'm a nubz

I use http://virusscan.jotti.org, I dunno if there is any limit in Size, you should try that.

Maybe it's better not to lock it, there might be other people with better or other online virusscans who like to share it here

jotti scan has a 10mb limit
http://www.virustotal.com is also good
