Full str glavier or hybrid spear?

I'm not so sure which char I should make. I either want a full str glavier or a hybrid spear.. Any suggestions of hybrid spear would be really nice. Which masteries should I take with them, i'm not so familiar with them... Thanks in advance.

Hybrid spears go into two categories, IMO.

87%+ mag. balance spears - 90 light / 90 cold / 90 heuksal / 30 fire.
<87% mag. balance spears - 90 fire / 90 heuksal / 60 light / 60 cold.

Those are the two basic builds you need to be looking at. The first one does more damage, whereas the second one tanks better. It's your choice, really. It depends on your playing style.

My opinion is take the second one which u can tank more and still dish out nice damage!...and stay alive longer in pvp without snow shield!

if i have time ill make str hybrid glaive^^ but i dont

80-83% naked str hybrid and try to achieve 90% phy and 70% mag. ull also have 20k+ HP with more damage^^

spear needs a nice set (clothes and weap) more than glaive to kill/survive

glaive is easier with less alchemy and spending
