Same here Babel went boring in everyguild were botters and no guild was really active. Even the guild that ocupied fortress multiple times.

When you have seen a lvl90 warrior/lock not use vampire kiss prior to debuffs, or a nuker not use wepon skills when he has them, or just spam KD, then yeah I would say ppl who tend to hand grind their chars know what they are doing in pvp

Why has a bot union not taken over the fortress in Venus then? It's not just because Avalon is mostly euro. What's stopping botters from either botting up their euros, or botting chinese and plvling euros, and then use those capped euros?

I suppose you could master your own build at cap even if you botted, but you won't have the experience a legit has. You won't have quite the same skillset working in a party with other players.

Two of my Euro characters were powerleveled by friends almost to cap, yet I know much more about my characters than most handgrinders know about their build. I can safely say that my last character, a Warrior/Warlock, was one of the best PvPers and jobbers in my server, whether they were legit or not. It doesn't matter if you get powerleveled. If one is determined to learn their build, they will do so regardless of how they leveled. Granted, handgrinding will give players better insight as to how to plan attacks on enemies. All I'm saying is that, yes, it is possible that someone who didn't handgrind their way to cap be as good or better than those who did.

Sure, you can bot up to 90 and then take some time to learn about all your skills, learn what each one does, pros and cons of each skill, but you won't have hands on experience actually playing the game. Maybe you can get 'really good' in 1v1 PVP, but it's a bit harder to become 'really good' in group PVP if you don't have the experience to back it up.

Speaking from my personal experience being powerleveled, it gave me time to experiment with skills, different combinations and then later on implementing those self-taught strategies in combat. My friends and I would plan party PvP versus other parties a few times a week and I learned how my character is played in a party and I became good at it. Jobbing is very party-intensive and requires quick thinking and that also helped me understand my build from a party perspective. I already leveled a Euro character to cap and enjoyed it very much. I have had the Silkroad experience already, which is why I chose to have my other characters powerleveled instead. I already knew what I was basically going to get from party play so instead I focused on learning my skills as I leveled up. It's the same outcome in the end, but results vary from person to person, of course. One can't very well say that no botted or powerleveled character will ever kill a handgrinded character because that's not true- it happens on a daily basis.

Getting to cap whether it's through way of a bot, or if it's legitimately, is going to take some time. However, share partying takes A LOT less time than a bot would ever take soloing, and costs A LOT less money. Back on Oasis I knew people who'd throw money at the whole package" bot cards, gold, and silk; they'd be spending an excess of probably $200 a month, and almost always complain about not having enough money in real life (and @ the person who says legits are ignorant of NOT taking the easy way out; sometimes the easy way out isn't always "easy").

However, I will agree that it's a choice of whether to cheat or go at it the way it was supposed to be played. The reason why I stay legit is easy, it's just a game; I don't need to buy gold or bot to cap to try and be the "best" at a game. I'll get to cap at my own pace, I'll pimp my gears w/o the need to buying in-game gold with real life money. Hell, it's just a game, you don't NEED to be capped or fully-farmed in-order to have a great time. It's a game, have fcking fun with it the way it was supposed to be played! When the game begins to become a chore, then it's best to just find something else to do!

SRF kept me from botting. I just stopped playing when things were getting too frustrating in game. I saw people flying past me after 80 cap opnened. They were capped and fully farmed, and I was grinding my ass off (w/o silk) to farm up just two weak masteries (Fire and Light for my nuker. Suddenly I realized I needed Ice too =| ...). Wasn't worth it, really, so I stopped playing. Highest results: 69 STR archer @ Oasis, 62 INT S&S @ Zeus. RIP.

lol, you atleast reached 60+ without silks and bot.. my highest lvl is 50 and i didn't handgrinded it (don't think i bot now cuz it was plvl)

I figure if I dont have time to play then I wont I have used a trainer in diablo2 to give the character everything and you know what was fun for a little bit then there was no point in playing anymore. I've spent too much time playing my character to throw it away by cheating. dont forget hunting unique, fw, guild war, help other plvl and that pretty much the whole game, unless u consider handgrinding a fun part of the game.

you dont, anyone can do it, but it wouldnt be as fun doing it as a lower lvl, but if your legit, u feel more accomplis when your higher lvl thats it.

I personaly disagree, my friend gave me his rogue/lock when he quit the char, I know I am not as skilled a rogue as person who handgrinded to cap, hell I didnt even know about the trap/sleep bug till about 3 weeks ago, but on my nuker I am reknown for being hard/impossible to beat for my lvl range, my gear isnt special, nor is my build, I would owe it simply due to the fact I have handgrinded to a lvl which most ppl on Zeus fail to reach. if you have sufficant time its possible to become adept at pvp with a char that was botted/plvled/gifted, but you will NEVER be as able as a person who knows that char intimatly and has handgrinded it

Unfortunally the times have changed...Its not how it use to be back in 60 cap or even 70 cap. Botting is becoming a more common thing and the Legit population is getting smaller by the day.

Im glad that Venus has a large Legit community, i know if played on any other server i would of probally quit due to the lack of Legits. More Legits from other severs should join Venus, you wont regret it.

I Agree with how you say Botters wont know how to use there characters like a legit, But that would only be for a short period of time. Eventually the botter would practice and learn the combo's/Orders of skills and become just as good at it as a Legit.It May take couple weeks or even months..but they'd still get the hang of it Unfortunally

1]Avalon usually fights Fortress with 2 parties (16 players). Recently BHA started going to Fortress again because the botters have started getting more aggressive. Lastly Avalon Union no longer exist. It is now Midnight Union led by AbelNox.
