I can't believe you're all talking about how his ignorance is an acceptable excuse for what he did. He's representing joymax on an international stage, the steps they've taken towards banning bots (which are substantial considering their history) puts them at fault for not recognizing the logo of one of the main sources for bots and botting info.

All GMs should know what 0x33 is, if they don't then there's something wrong with the corporate heads and officers of the company. That would be like the SRF staff not knowing what 0x33 is, except the difference is that we don't get paid to find these things out.

It doesn't matter whether SRO supports bots in the background or not. The only responsible thing to do is to fire gargamel and make a public statement about it. When you guys buy silk you buy it under the assumption that they will uphold their tos.

When they say that it's illegal to bot, and you then buy silk and they don't do anything about the bots (or even worse, support them), then you most likely have the right to legal action. They're quite literally selling you a product that's different from the one they're offering on paper, and that's illegal.
