The way I see it, guilds (and unions) have rules. If you want to be a member of that guild or union, you need to follow their rules. If you don't follow the rules, you don't need to be in that group any longer.
It's not that we're being "sheep" or anything. We're just following the rules that are given to us. If Avalon suddenly makes rules I don't agree with, I can either put up with the rules, talk with the leaders about it hoping for change, or leave the guild.
Of course if you are legit and in a botting guild, it doesn't make you a botter, but one can say it makes you a bot supporter. The guild itself supports bots. You are giving them guild points every time you grind, helping them level the guild, buy guild store items, and generally supporting that guild's cause.
You may not like the fact that they bot, but you're still supporting them, helping keep them in existence.
