private torrent organizations havw access to alot more torrents that are normally always active because members are required to seed them. That the way most of them work not sure about demoniod but i download stuff with their name on it all the time so either it gets leaked or they don't care either way i don't see the point in joining since you can get their stuff easily...

Like XemnasXD said, Demonoid is a private torrent tracker, but anyone can find their leaked torrents on Google or forums and they'll work just fine. The real private torrent tracker sites will not allow users not registered to their site to download their torrents. They're also very strict and require that certain ratio requirements be maintained.

Private trackers also ask their members to turn off DHT, but most of them don't so it's kind of pointless...
