Farming help

Post by Tasdik »

So I'm gonna be making a xbow/bard char and only getting the two bard skills that are really helpful *Noise and speed* but I'll need some 417k sp for my char to be fully farmed for 90. My question is how should I farm? Like should I just 3 gap the whole way? Or make a 9 gap somewhere and just farm then....idk :?

leave skills at lvl 10 and go to samarkand to the ong habitat and sit on the side of a mountain with a 9 gap and get in an exp auto share party and let a high level kill ongs for a month until you get 400k SP. Once you level to around 26-27, go delevel back to 19 and repeat.

ONG farming is over rated.

Sure its fast but wheres the sense of accomplishment? You hardly did anything yourself, you just sat there and mooched for a month. Wheres the feeling of self satisfaction?

Also you dont gain money from being powerleveled, unlike leveling yourself. Personally i would much rather just farm in an autoshare pt, the xp is great and you get money as well. its also a hell of a lot more fun

Wheres the feeling of self satisfaction? Knowing that you can now 0gap to the cap, and not have to worry about that pesky sp.

And it feels so much better knowing you farmed each one of those points yourself, by hand, as opposed to mooching of someone high level.. most probably a bot.

True dat.
btw topic starter, at least get a tambour or two so you can maybe dance with other bards at higher levels^
Best way to pick up chicks is dancing with them - proven fact!

Who said we were in a rush? Why should it take a short period? Why cant we take our sweet ass time doing it?

This game was designed to be long, so that only the mentally fit people could get capped. Now days with power leveling and bots, every fool and his donkey are capped. Why do we have to be capped right away? Why cant we take our time and have fun? Why is there such a predetermined attitude to be capped and fully farmed?

As a side note: The venus crew proved becoming capped and farmed is incredibly easy without power leveling, so it really doesn't take too much time nitro.

My most fun jobbing experiences were around lvl 4x. I knew i could be killed at any second so it made the adrenaline rush just that bit more exciting. Whats the point of being capped and trading when you know you can kill everyone? I would much rather be the stealthy weakling.

So yeah, it is fun.

Farm at ongs. Don't listen to those ''powerfarming isn't honourable sh!t''

You'll get your satisfaction out of leveling with a 0 gap and that you don't have to worry about SP.

And in the end, your FF lvl 90 char is as good as all the others :)

It isnt honorable, specially the kids that come on acting like that did something great. If they would farm in the den, now that would be honorable.

1. It's a game so don't take the whole honor thing to much to heart
2. I've been playing for 2 years I know how the game works and I'm not just some random kid who will act all high and mighty once I reach 70+

Whats the difference between "a game" and life? Just because its electronic why should morals not exist? A mmo is a gathering of different people in a predetermined world. Does that remind you of anything? Life perhaps?

Touche....I'm not saying that being honorable isn't a good thing...I'm just saying that after playing a game for 2 years getting p farmed isn't so bad....but yeah I get your point which is why I'm always fair and honest in game as well as in real life
