Omg, computer error when i log into silkroad -.-

when i try t log into silkroad my computer freezes and then the screen goes blue and has white writing that says something like Kernel_data_page_error and loads of other writing about memory dump and physical dump and some weird stuff, this is really bugging me help please.

i have done some research, and i found out that the screen i am seeing is known as the blue screen of death lol. can someone help meh resolve it

dunno my specs or how to get em but my RAM is 1024 MB and i have vista and someone told me vista uses RAM like crazy so maybe it's that and maybe i need to get xp

you have 1gb of RAM and your trying to run Vista? Ouch! its recommended to get 2gb of RAM for Vista but some find that 4gb should be the recommended ammount. If you want to get XP good luck because i'm pretty sure last time i checked they stop distubing copies of it.

too check your system specs.( what i want to see)
just go to Control Panel < System < General tab, and it should be under that tab. update your drivers too once in a while. that helps too.

And you can run Vista on that thing? your lucky you can do that. in my opinion you should downgrade to XP(upgrade) if you can.

Thanks for your help, btw im on a laptop, also it's weird cos it has that vista sticker on it shouldn't that mean it's like made for vista?

My parents have a laptop that has a sticker that says is for Windows 2000, yet it has windows XP on it. One of my other relatives has a sticker on theres that says Windows XP, yet it has Windows 2000. Stickers mean nothing.

lol i desperatly tried to get into silkroad today and it logged me in and i was in hotan and then it crashed but no blue screen i got uber lag and then ??????????? error lol! i think i need to get xp/more RAM/upgraded graphics card(i have shitty intigrated card)

and btw, celeron processors suck as far as i know. if you get you computer to play SRO properly then you should put the computer in a freak show because that would be F**king insane! but aside from that you have a machine that would run XP no problem. Only if 1. you can obtain a copy of the dam OS 2. can successfully delete Vista.

when i first bought this laptop 9 months ago, silkroad ran fine, but now all of a sudden it's messing up

you sure about that?..hmmm well i guess i was wrong about the system specs needed for vista, but still Vista has many bugs, or not bugs but programs don't like too work with it so well as they do with XP.
