Screw bioshock

Post by Innovacious »

So i decided to give bioshock another chance. When i first got it i was very disappointed and i cast it aside until now.

Anywho, im happily going along until i gotta kill 4 guys and take their photographs. I killed the last guy with the grenade launcher and his body dissapeared, i cant find it anywhere so i cant continue. My last auto save was over an hour before that (i dont bother saving since you cant die anyway). There is an arrow that shows where im supposed to go but it just leads me to a wall downstairs from where i killed him :|

So now ive basically hit a brick wall and im probably just gonna cast the stupid game aside for another 2 years :banghead: I was getting into it more this time although its still not a great game.

just replay the hour you just did. since you already know what to do, it will only take you half the time to do it. bioshock is worth your patience.

lol. Something like that happened when i was playing Mass effect. Kileed everyone in the area but i shot some obdies outside of the area so the story never progessed and i was stuck in a locked area with nothing to do. Just play through the old save, i know it sucks but hey thats what you get for not saving often, i try to do that in every game i play just in case, especially complicated games.

Not really, since this sort of scenario never really comes up with other games. Even if it did if i liked the game enough i would continue but bioshock just isnt enough fun. Without the poorly implemented rpg elements its just another boring, generic, linear fps.

No such thing.

If you don't have the patience for bioshock, you should quit life.

I got stuck cus the game bugged out and the dudes body dissapeared. I need to take a picture of his body to continue. I spent about 15 minutes running around trying to find it to no avail.

No... In Fort Frolic Cohen wants you to kill 3 people and take a photograph of their dead bodys for his "masterpiece", you dont get ratings for these pictures. Even if i could take a picture when hes alive ill still have to load up the old save and get back to that point.

I got bored and found his body. i had to cheat to get to it though. It was behind the wall that the arrow was pointing too (i mentioned it earlier). Without the no cliping cheat its impossible to get there. Anywho, i decided to continue from there since you kept going on about it and ive already finished. Wasnt really worth it though.

didnt the story atleast do anything for you?

without a doubt its the best story in a game iv seen in years, change from your the hero, they are baddies kill them, oh look a new baddie, kill them too, game over

here there is more complexity, enough choice to give a feeling of involvment but not too much to make it open

Uh, thats what it seemed like to me. And it really was just game over, 30 seconds after fontaine dies im back at the main menu (maybe the bad ending is longer?). And no the story didnt really do anything for me. Anywho, i think thats enough time spent discussing this game for me now.
