Aaaaanyway, you guys discuss about the 8tail guy not being the real bearer/Jinchuriki og the 8 tails theory... and if you wanna vote on the poll about who will win in the battle between Sasuke and the 8 Tails go ahead. Wow already in the 3rd page and a day hasn't passed yet ^^ hehehe. Well... to tell you the truth here's something Kishimoto has tried and succeded to reflect on his characters... He wanted each team to have its specialty. And he wanted to make Naruto look stupid and weak cuz making it strong and smart (Kishimoto doesn't like smart characters to be the main character). Sasuke originally was not in the manga. When he gave this to the publisher, they recomended to put a rival for Naruto to overcome through out the development of the manga. So Kishi made Sasuke look smart and tough to make Naruto look good now and then as he becomes stronger as the manga keeps growing.

IMO I totally agree. I didn't like for example in Bleach that Ichigo got so strong immideately (he got to defeat the strongest captain Byakuya already and it wasn't even 80 episodes yet). I was asking myself... now that he's like the strongest what will happen next? Until I figured out that theres new Hollows and about the Aizen stuff hehehe.

I don't really like Sasuke or Naruto. Both of them are annoying. Temari is my favorite character.

It does stretch out a bit at times. I'm pretty sure Sasuke could easily kill that guy but it has to look like the guy is strong and that Sasuke isn't overpowered(which he is).

In fact, because it has sold many copies it's because it's good.

If you fail to grasp your target audience, whatever you created is a failure. No matter how great the story, animation, etc. may seem to be. Naruto has a big audience, therefore it is not necessarily incorrect to say Naruto is good anime. I'm pretty sure many manga creators envy Naruto's success.

Hehehehe I'm drawing the 8Tails as we speak it looks EXACTLY the same as the 1 drawn in the manga IMO and other pple that have seen it as well... although only the drawer (me) sees microscopic flaws like the segments of the sword. I wish you could all see it ^^

Back on topic: Used to like Naruto. I hate the whole thing, but I still find myself reading the manga for some reason. There are way better anime and mangas out there that are actually worth to watch, read, and even discuss, but I guess popularity is popularity no matter how shitty it is.

So, it looks like you failed and also lack reading comprehension since you clearly misunderstood what I was saying if that is your reponse.

Well... I just finished my 8 Tails drawing... it looks awesome. I should put it in The Wall (were I put my best drawings out of hundreds from existing manga and stuff I imagined).

Moving on... I see that the 8 Tail theory thing is a stump... not many are discussing it... so I'd like to share a lot of facts from the Manga and stuff from the author. SO.... up next Naruto Manga and Kishimot Facts

Well it may not be Kakashi but I don't think it will be the guy with one eye, Danzou, either. Sasuke wants revenge on the elders who made his brother betray their clan. Danzou is one of the elders he wants to kill so I don't think it would make sense to make Danzou Hokage only to have him killed in probably like 10 or so more chapters later.

Naruto Manga and Kishimoto Facts (Many stuff written here are stuff many of you would not know... kinda interesting to see these facts check 'em out.

Ok, here I go first off with the author, Kishimoto.

KISHIMOTO
Kishimoto is the creator of 4 mangas so far...
-A hentai manga about 2 Ninjas that fled off from Ninja Kingdom so they can love each other and they are persecuted by other ninja. (So I do believe; correct me if I'm wrong)

-Naruto (This Naruto is a different one from the one we see right now) This was a project before the real deal came out... it was about 2 ninja friends that would be powerful coming from stuff from friendship (Frienship is soemthing important in the Naruto we see) Kishimoto then saw the outline and he said it was a mess...

-Naruto (The one we know) its first release in 1999. Stuff like the friendship stuff were brought back... but this world was way better and he tried to reflect many aspects that make the manga great. Such as trying to make Naruto as a "Son Goku" someone weak and stupid, etc.

-Kakashi Gaiden, this manga is based off from the past, before Naruto was even born. This is a manga where the origin of Kakashi's Sharingan is explained.

Kishimoto has a twin brother which is as well a manga artist, creator of Satan 666 (If any1 knows about this please do post abput it please ^^).

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND MANGA
OK, first off with the characters.

Naruto: Kishi made Naruto stupid because he actually hates smart characters specially to be the main character. He thinks smart characters will be just boring and it will be no fun developing it. He wanted the main character to be stupid but with a HUGE AND GREAT heart just like Goku. He wanted Naruto to be unique, not like the most manga main characters.

Kishimoto drew Naruto with the clothes he used when he was a little kid when he played. Early sketches of Naruto were with boots. But then Kishi changed them to sandals (almost every ninja in the manga weras them). Why? Because... well... he said he liked to draw toes... lol. He wanted Naruto to saty with the goggles shown first off in the 1st chapters, but then he changed them to the Headband cuz drawing the goggles were too time consuming.

Sasuke: Kishimoto said that Sasuke was his favorite character... to draw. Why? I'll explain in a few moments.

Sasuke was really never in the early outlines of the manga in the first place. When he turned it in to the publisher they recomended to put someone that rivals Naruto. Kishimoto took back the project and some lil editing in the project was done. Sasuke is a smartass that always makes Naruto look bad and thinks he's a loser. This was Kishi's chance to base Sasuke off from Naruto's friend in the first Naruto thing he realesed that was considered a mess by him. And as the manga kept growing so Sasuke did become best friends with Naruto. Kishimoto wanted Sasuke to look smart, cool, and powerful that makes Naruto to consider him as a rival to overcome (thats what pushes him, just as Kishi planned). He wanted him to be the key, a twist to the manga, to open a whole new door to the manga itself (when he abandons Konoha and friends). But for that to happen there had to be a motive, there had to be an arrogant side of Sasuke to do something as such a great twist: his bro, Itachi. A tragedy was needed and that fit Sasuke perfectly.

Now, here's why Sasuke is Kishi's fav character to draw (pple discussed that its his fav char from all the naruto world... but no its his fav to draw.) To make Sasuke look like a 12 year old in the begginings of the manga, it was very difficult cuz his face would look like someone older like an adult. He was the most time consuming char to draw of all the characters and the hardest (of course in the shippuden time it's easier). By time, Kishimoto looked up to draw Sasuke since he began to like to draw Sasuke.

Sakura: Not too much info in this char. Kishi admits that he lacks the knowledge to what a real heroine should be... He wnated Sakura to be an avergae yet smart ninja. Someone that supports the group and to show off once a while every now and then (Kishi always gives a fair share of the spotlight to every character). Sorry don't have too much info of Sakura, if any of you have any please add. Kishi said he will concentrate more on her after the 8 tails stuff or I think later.

Kakashi: Kakashi was developed to be an easy going person with powerful abilities and to be shrouded by a cloud of mystery. Early character developments of Kakashi was someone to keep in check Naruto's team every certain time. Kishimoto then changed it and made him their sensei. Having his face covered all the time is an enigma already. But to have the sharingan eye was already too much. Kishimoto tried and succesfully explained the origin of Kakashi's sharingan in a very short manga he did after the 1st part of Naruto was closed (after Sasuke became a missing nin). This manga is known as Kakashi Gaiden I'll explain later... but if any one would like to explain the storyline go ahead be my guest. Kakashi will be focused on later on the manga after the 8 tails stuff or maybe later just like Sakura.

Now, the manga... Kishimoto tried to reflect a BUNCH of stuff through the characters to make the manga really great. He made Naruto "Son Goku" as Friendship, Love, someone that doesn't give up... someone that has a goal, a dream yet hyperactive but powerful that shows determination and many other themes make Naruto have a big heart just like Goku.. The hyperactive stuff was to make Naruto unique, Kishimoto didn't want that his characters be too close to those he based stuff he learned from other Manga artists Kishimoto looked at other people's work and he self-taught himself how to work all that stuff of the manga. One of the greatest influences in his work is Dragon Ball.

This is an ongoing manga that has sold over 7.1 million copies making it the greats manga of all time since Dragon Ball (yes... I know, I know some haters still dwell in this thread... just as there are naruto haters there were dragon ball haters and Dragon Ball is considered as the best manga yet.) This has made Naruto Dragon Ball's sucesor. He admits that he has made the manga too "Japanese" with all the Hand signs, Heaven symbols (the one that Sasuke had that was controlled by Orochimaru), the 5 Elements, Head bands, etc. This all was from Japanese beliefs and history. He said that it was too japanese "but people will find it fun."

P.S.: Jiraiya, the one who trained Naruto, got his name from one of the strongest samurai in Japanese History.

Well the creator did say he was going to focus on Kakashi more and he would undergo something major or something like that so I guess becoming Hokage isn't too farfetched of an idea. Also, who else is more fit to lead in Konoha besides Kakashi? I'm pretty sure he's overall the best jounin there unless I'm forgetting someone.

Kishimoto can't draw for sh1t. He sucks at putting a story together. He sucks at making likable characters and dislikeable villains. Naruto is a good idea that was very poorly executed. Too many plot holes or just plain lame plots. To many over powered characters defeated in ridiculous ways. WAY TO MANY FLASHBACKS. That is the only anime i have ever seen thats done like a 5 min flashback to something that happened earlier in the SAME episode.

Actually, Naruto is known as the greatest manga of all time since Dragon Ball. Naruto is considered as a "Son Goku" because of his personality and has sold over 71 million copies... just like Dragon Ball... So, Naruto doesn't stink. And as I've said before... just leave and don't post a thing if you hate Naruto. This thread is NOT for complaining and swearing.

And yes... many characters can die cuz of stupid ways cuz they're just Human... they are not Goku or a God or Superman. Just like anyone can die from an Illness. Even the strongest can die from a shot in the chest. They can be powerful and all but as much powerful as they are they have a weakness like any human, they have to die some time in their life no matter how GREAT they are...

Look at the Japanese numbers. And the World Wide numbers. And the Shounen Jump Popularity polls. In the US Naruto may be riding high because of its 14-16 year old old fan base but everywhere else including Japan One Piece is King. With over 140 million copies sold, One Piece is the third highest selling manga in the history of Weekly Shōnen Jump. BOO YA! Even Akira Toriyama noted the comparison popularity wise when he teamed up with Oda and they did a one-shot together. DBZ chatacers are frequently portrayed with comparisons to OP characters because of the popularity of the 2 mangas. Nartuo is a third rate nobody and not nearly on par popularity wise with Monkey D. Luffy or Son Goku so don't try and compare the two. Akiria Toriyama agrees, Shonen Jump agrees, and the Japanese ppl agree.

alos you completely missed my point. Kishimoto has made so many characters so unbelieavbly powerful that when they are defeated it won't make sense. Madara, who was strong enough to fight with the 1st Hokage will eventually be defeated by Sasuke. That will make no sense because it will mean that Sasuke is more powerful than the 1st Hokage. So far Kishimoto has been able to keep it in cheack by saying everyone sasuke beat who he shouldn't have been able to beat was already weakend (Orichimaru and Itachi were dying) but now we have Pein who was strong enough to kill Jiriya at his most powerful, Sasuke who has killed off 2 of the most powerful ppl so far, Madara the invincible original Uchiha, and Naruto who has to overcome all of these things and be the hero even though compared to all those characters he's shown a complete lack of skill or talent besides getting really powerful and blowing shit apart. He's a terrible ninja, the only thing that he has going for him is the 9-tails. Even if he masters sage form and gets more powerful he's still nowhere as smart as sasuke, Pein, Jiriya, kakashi, or Madara and yet he's going to be greater than all of them. That makes no sense and that is why that manga fails.

Well... other manga nad/or anime I've seen are:
-Pokemon (when I was like 10), read some of the manga and Ash is actually named Red... manga and anime in this case went their seperate ways. Actually the game was made first, then the manga stopped at the first gen of pokemon and anime went on with new generations so I've heard.

-Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT, I haven't really read the manga but I've seen every episode of Z and GT but not all of Dragon Ball since I wasn't too much of a fan when Dragon Ball was on. The anime and manga were so great... that they made tons of games out of it... they were awesome and i still buy dragon ball games. So far I have the tenkaichi Budokai and stuff like that.

-Inuyasha very cool, my fav character was Inuyasha's bro, Sesshomaru. I liked the plot but I always hated that they had to find the shards of the pearl of souls all over and over again. I was broken when the anime stopped. But the manga continued... I loved the part when sesshomaru's sword broke and his severed arm made a new sword and he got it back with the strongest sword in the manga (the blacksmith guy admits that Sesshomaru surpassed his father... yay)

Rave Master this wasn't anything special of a manga really... it stopped making the anime like in the episodes 50's I liked the anime but not too much and since it wasn't very popular the manga was hard to find.

Gundam Wing I wasn't a fan of this I just watched it when I was bored... I missed most of the episodes but I got to see the last one.

Noein, a VERY short anime like 28 episodes, it's about this girl anmed Haruka that has this friend Yuu... this cloaked guy called Karasu came to retrieve the Dragon Torque to save his demension against Shanri'La (they are at war). Hruka then finds out that the man cloaked, Karasu is really Yuu 15 years from the future... I liked it but nothing extremely special either.

Bleach, I like the anime, I don't plan to read the manga just yet. I don't like that Ichigo gets all powerful and surpasses one of the strongest guys (Byakuya) in just like 60 episodes... that's just broing... but It's still awesome it's like my 4th fav anime/manga so far
