Client auto-close down

the SRO client close down automatically once i open something that is related to graphic card, for example, video converter, other game (Ragnarok Online), play video files and etc. . . . is there anyone facing this problem? can anyone help?

Probably a resolution problem, whats the resolution for SRO and other game?

my monitor resolution is 1440x900, while SRO and other games are 1024x768

Wow that is a pretty weird resolution. what Inch" is your screen? if you can put it to something different like 1280x1024 or 1024x768.

it's 19" samsung lcd monitor. I usually make it in 1024x768 and window mode it when i was playing... but it'll auto close down itself~ that is so weird~

well i guess you should try and put it to resolution 1024x768, try it at least to see if anything changes.

i know that windowed mode does give some problems for people when they play try playing it in normal mode and see what happens.

I also play on a 19" widescreen, 1440 by 900 native res, and play SRO at 1024 by 768. If I use windowed mode, it's slightly more "laggy". I chalk it up to the video card having to render both 2D (for your desktop) and 3D (for SRO) at the same time. Fullscreen mode is much easier.

I hear you though, I like to keep Vent and/or Xfire open and SRO does not like running fullscreen and getting Alt-tabbed to another application.
