This is one of the best posts I have seen in a long time, maby
even the best I have read on this forum.

I really agree with that guy, and as Deacon said, it's really touchy.

I remember that I started playing sro a little while after it opened
and there was a few high lvls (lvl 5x) ^^
And one day I died grinding at tigers (this was at lvl 15 I think)
so, like every other low lvl at that time, I yelled "Ress please!!!"
and I got so suppriced that I actually got ressed xD
Well, that ress is now probably the reason why im still playing this game
as it made me meet a lot of nice people on Oasis among Deacon, Tygrah, Nemmerle
and so on, and now I know so many cool people on this server, that I would
forget atleast half if I even tryed to name them all

As most people who got to know me (most people know me as Auto, or PiizzaBoy *wierd names, but at least people normaly remember them ^^*) I am very much against botting, and I dont hide that =)
so what this guy wrote, is just like hearing myself think

Great story. Brings me back to "back in the days." He's totally right about how I feel about the game. It's really too bad how the botting thing can't be controlled. It really shouldn't be that hard.

lol admired, I guess he didn't know polt was a bot? xycl was the first to kill isy, other then the hacked ones lol. Impulse was cool though.

And meiyoempire talkin bout being honorable >.>, they invited like all the hihg lvl bots they could for guild wars >.>, and still lost..

I cant believe you still remember MeiyoEmpire... I was in that guild. I was the co-leader, everyone from that guild quit... It was an ok guild @ 60 cap. And yeah they did invite botters for wars, but they weren't botters themselves.

At first he dident bot, after 70 cap came... well... then shit changed.

silkroad at that time was really nice

after reading all of it ( liked how he said the big guild names like massacration xD )
i went searching for my old screenshots
could only find some
lol @ globals on this pic xD

this is Zapdos, he had hunter blood on his veins , i took the ONLY screenshot when suited up for thiefing with us lol ^^
also ShadowHawk guild , i still remember when i was walking on karakoram searching spot then i found Ryoko waiting for Isy , the he invited everyone for his guild , some time after that he went play WoW and left sro =/

and this is ROC when he spawned on downhang , its not my screen but that day was awesome XD

i remember those days..sad thing is i dont believe sro will ever change. There will always be bots and spammers, and as the lvl cap gets higher more ppl will turn to bots as a way out of Endless grinding.

that is how silkroad should be. where people are understanding and helpful.

but now people bot, no1 knows how hard it is to lvl or how much effort is really needed. and how expansive things are and how this is a very tough game to fight by yourself.

now were left with players joining acadmeys expecting plvl and gold and turks swearing and insulting every1. bots calling each other noob for not setting there bot up properly, people hacking others, no1 even speaks!people buying gold, gold bots, sun whores.

i know whos the best player in my server, the ones that know what im talking about.
i played sro before the item mall to, but not from the very start, i wish i did. bots were unheard of and the bots that did exist were a minority and still made the game enjoyable.

Whoa is that a real Roc? When did that happen? Why? Whats the story behind it?

I didnt know the beginnings of SRO, so the story was very interesting.

Before Gameguard was introduced into SRO Hackers sometimes ran riot across the server along with the legendary +9999999 weapon that could kill isy in 1 swipe

they basicly Spawned roc in DW was so funny everyone got pwned!
