Installation problem

Hey guys, it's my first time her, but i have a small problem. (I hope)

I was refferred to silkroad by a friend and downloaded the slient program, along iwth the patch, directx upgrade, and graphics upgrade. Now, wehn i run SilkroadOnlinevGlobalOfficial v1.01.exe to install the game, i get an error message:
Message String Error.

as I'm sure you all know, the silkroad site isn't great for techinical support and in order to post anything you have to have a charactor, and I can't creata charactor until i install, and i can't install until I get help, sooo, help?

I believe that means your download was corrupted. Did you use a download manager? Stop in the middle and restart? Is your internet connection particularly unstable?

yes, not that i know of, no, althoough we did have a slight storm in the area... ill redownload it and try again
