anyone here know any good and truely scary horror games for PC. I need a good scare once in a while. Gets you pumping ><, Don't suggest console games I have played most of them and they are nice.

anyway

the only one i can really think of is this half life series, it could really go either way of being one or not being one. it has zombies, head humpers, and huge ass dog things that like to rip the shit out of you. but then also has the common soldier enemy. so yeah no really a full fledge horror game but its close enough i think

oh and as posted above fear for sure. and stalker is a good game, i havent really played it but my dad has played it numerous times in different situations and said it was a very good game.

Play STALKER. Great game, the sounds and just the atmosphere is creepy. Not to mention the mutated animals aren't scripted so they do a lot of weird things. Plus, when you first run into a blood sucker and hear is scream, its freaky.

fear, bioshock, half life 2 series in some parts but not much, good game all around tho u should check it out ^^. F.E.A.R. is by far the scariest imo, great gameplay as well. I have bioshock but havn't gotten around to playing it, I've beat a couple levels. I wasn't really that scared ever only slightly startled. Fear and that freakish alma kid is pretty creapy lol
