Question about my build

Post by WolF414 »

I am a lvl 39 blader str.
Right now I have armor. Should I switch to garment to make up for the magic def. loss of being pure str.?? Because I am afraid that I will die easily when attacked with magic?

Thanks for the help :)

If you can afford it, invest in garment while not getting rid of your armor. garment is good for pvp. and armor isnt bad in pve.

well, its certainly true that you'll be hurt far more by magic if you wear armour..but I think a pure str can probably handle the extra damage..that being said, garment would severly reduce magic damage. It'd save on pots, I guess.

I am not worrying about pve as much as pvp at the moment, because pvp will be taking place more sften now that my char. is getting higher lvl. But I do like your idea of still keeping a set of armor.
So does everybody else agree that I should get garmnet then?

I know nukers do way more damage than monsters and this is a pvp thing, but with the right armor set, I never had any issues fighting earth taoists, even when they were dark red to me. Their fireballs maybe did 15-20 a pop. If you have fire masteries, you can absorb some magic damage, but overall, I think it's a good idea to be versatile and get a pimped out protector set. Protectors cover both bases pretty well, and still give you a reduction of mp and some speed boost.
