Why did those Thieves attack me?

I didnt wear any of those color neck thing for pvp, im only lvl 18. hunting at tigers a group of hunters or traders came and 3 thief popped up they cast this weird yellow ring ( heal?) and me and 3 other ppl got killed by those 3 thieves.

WHY? HOW?

NPC thieves attack every people they see, lower ot higher lvl, it attacks

They went in the heal circle, so they weren't attacked. So, as the NPC thief can't attack them, it attacked the nearest player, you

No wonder, im guessing those traders and hunters did it purposely. I lost 3956 exp, considering im an SP FARMER i wanted to lvl up !!! I got only 40 exp back when i was res. so gay.

Bah, as you farm, it doesnt matter if you lvl up fast or not, once u got your amount of SP, you can lvl up with 0 gap :wink:

The NPC thiefs can atack you, but you can`t atack them if you are low than lvl 20....Am I wright??

Sorry bugy, but your wrong.
Anyone at any level can attack anything.
The damage done is a whole different thing, and the matter if you can get close enough if they are ranged or not.

Hey Mauler...but I`m lvl 14...and when I see NPC thiefs I can`t atack them..and when I see kilers it`s the same way....It is sayng: you can`t PK at your lvl:((

I heard somewhere down a digital grape vine that this will be removed with a later patch? Thus preventing NPC thieves attacking "non-jobbers" and ending popping/accidental (or purpose) attacks?

It is sayng: you can`t PK at your lvl:((

They must be player thieves surely?

If it said you can't PK at your level, it means that it was a player thief that you couldn't attack.

Berdi is right though,
Later on after the Euro Update, a new Job system will be institued.
Heres a quick explanation
1 Job per person, if you change you lose the experience for that Job.
Only Hunters and traders can attack NPC thieves.
The Thieves will spawn NPC hunters only attackable by Player thieves.
Non-Jobbing characters can't attack any NPC thiefs/hunters

Theres more about a Party System
Can't party with opposite sides of job, a.k.a. No hunter or traders can party with thieves and vise versa.
Can't party with jobbed people if un-jobbed. a.k.a. no training with someone trading/hunting/thieving.

That new job system doesn’t sound too cool; I like switching between a thief and a merchant. silkrodonline.net brags about the flexibility of their job system how can they make it so rigid like that?

Yes, I love a good adrenaline rush of a solo 4 star thief run, but I like to do the same as a trader. This new system is gonna f-it all up. BTW check my new draquish sig.
