gradient from top right to bottom left on linear dodge. Might need to do some other things like clipping masks if you want the other guy to look different. Blur alot to.

I'd use soft brushes to create a non-gradient looking effect.
But I saved Aazu's gradient too

how will it not give the effect, my gradient is a bit disformed, the pink is to big. But thats all it is, is 2 gradients, one for each silhouette.

Im not saying your gradient is bad. Im just saying that if you used a gradient it wouldnt look right. I think using a soft brush on lighten or something would do better, it would give the glow effect aswell.

It's probably pentooled shapes + gradient overlay(linear dodge) in the blending options. Then some brushing for the glow or outer glow from the blending options as well. At least this is how I would do it...
