The banning has changed nothing since new generations of players come one after another while the oldies file out. I think no one will be surprised if someone will mention botting in that thread. Almost every thread ends up with flames about botting, and then..lock. Even your sig is about botting. The legit forum now talks about botting mostly. I speak for myself - this forum has changed.

I find it kind of funny/sad how some people whine and complain about how these forums have "changed for the worse... no good topics... flames... blahblah..." but they just sit back and do nothing about it. Just complain.

It's kind of like people who complain about whoever holds the US President office, but don't vote or do anything else to try and change it. They just complain, let the public vote for someone else in the next election, and then complain again.

At least in the forums, it's easier to make a change. One vote might not change a lot, but one thread can.

Actually those kinds of threads are the heart of SRF. Someone sharing a personal experience like the good old days. If you can't handle it or have a problem with it and want all the banned bots back cause they make your vision of SRF come true, well then fuck off.

SRF was Drama and flames in the "gold ole days". SRF was trouble for the admins and mods in the gold ole days. In the good ole days people still accused people of botting. "Oh, I know so and so bots why are you protecting him" or "Closet botters ftl!" Ryoko made a thread in SRF's baby-stages asking if a anti-bot forum should be created. I remember bumping it and before it was locked people that did vote/post were for it. Somtime after Europe, around December; did people start changing their mindset. Coincidentally, that is the same time botters starting calling themselves legit. "It is now a war of Legit botter vs Gold Bot." Have they lost their damn mind?

No, this forum hasn't changed. It's the same thing, with less drama. Lurked since January of 07; joined in July or was it June? Point is; SRF is better.

Drama gets people banned (there are other rules that get people banned) and causes unnecessary stress for the mods. Forums exist to pass information, not to see who has the biggest e-penis. If you're expecting anything more out of a gaming forum, well; you're at the wrong url.

"Cool People", typically include: idiots, attention whores, trolls, and drama queens. Those people don't contribute, those people are the posters that are complained about when they're around then praised when they're banned.

Server drama comes and goes, and has always been here.
Same thing goes with 'this server best blah blah'.
Bot accusations I already mentioned..that's the ONLY thing that's changed.
