Help--Mouse / Keyboard Freezes during game

Hi guys, Sorry for posting this topic here, but I thought that this is the place I could get more help from, I ve tried posting topics before in The Technical help section, but barely someone replies, so I really need help for this because this problem has been going on for 2 weeks and I m frustrated....

The Problem:

One week before, the game used to freeze while im playing, the whole screen, mouse, keyboard, I cant use any of them, total freeze, but the game is running, I hear the sounds of monsters attacking me, so I had to restart the PC everytime it freezes ( Freeze happens every 15 = 25 mins )
Then I had my freind come, we opened the PC case, removed the Rams 1 GB DDR1 and inserted it again firmly, and played, the game never froze up till now. So after 2 days from No freeze, I figured out that my mouse stopped working in game and wont move, even outside the game, SO I had to get a USB mouse, Ok it works fine, but when inside the mouse port ( Green ) it doesnt move at all. The Next day while ingame, Suddenly I hear a *peep* sound from the Keyboard while typing inside the game, and then i couldnt use it at all, Nor chat, so I had to exit by mouse, i restarted the PC, and played again, then 5 mins and I hear the peep sound and the keyboard freezes. Then I tried to exit, Reinstall the Keyboard hardware, and restarted, played, 10 mins then Keyboard peeps again....I reinstalled SRO, but still have a problem, I bought a new Keyboard, and played SRO, the new Keyboard freezes aslo same as the first one, Both arent USB, They are in the keyboard port ( Purple )

How to fix this? I need your help guys, and Thanks a Lot.

Try reinstalling Windows? I had the *beep* problem with my mouse , but it would beep , all would lag and after 2-3 seconds everything would be cool ...

I reinstalled Windows and everything is fine.

This used to happen to me, I just pressed CTRL+ALT+DELETE and everything unfroze just like that.

I got the same problem.

I started downloading all the windows updates pending (start-->all programs-->windows update) and installed the latest driver for my graphic card. It's better now. I'm still freezing and lagging for short moments (just a couple of seconds). I wonder if it's not related to a windows update that tries to install itself on your computer. There is a very huge update of around 30 minutes download time.

I think so. I checked all the drivers on my PC looking for updates and reinstalled the graphic card driver. And installed all the windows updates. Service Pack 3 was in the list of updates. My PC checks automatically for updates when I'm connected.

Then try using different ports for you keybored eg different USB Slots (Have you got it in the correct slot if its PS2)

if that still dosent work try a different keybored

He had a non usb keyboard/mouse. I guess it's the card where you mouse/keyboard slot connects too. Get some usb stuff :O

I think its a beep of the USB connect dissconnect.
What mouse do you have is it a razer?

Hey Thanks guys for the replys, I ll try to do what you said. I dont know what type of peep is that but its a short one, and happens in game only. I ll do what you guys said and see if it works & reply. Hope it works.

Do you use the Avast virus scanner? If so go to Program Settings->Troubleshooting-> (turns on) Disable Avast! Self Defense Module

Nope I m not using it, but i noticed This problem has never happened before I installed the new windows, so I think the problem is from this windows, i ll try to reinstall it, maybe it will help because there was some kind of installation error?

happened to me a couple times, i asked my friend on vent and he said to re-start client.
or re-install sro

I reinstalled the client many times, and it still happens, Guess I ll have to go with reinstalling windows...:S :S This really sucks
