i hate plvling & i think it's a kind of cheating

cheat : To act in a dishonest or unfair way in order to get what one wants.

do you think it's fair for a legit player who leveled to 80 in 1 year then farm again in another year To see another player farming to 90 in 1 month then reach to 90 in 2~3 months ?!

imo plvling is bad as botting both of them are cheating

i don't care if all the server is level 90 pfarmed noobs who cant use there char .

All i want FROM NOW ON is fair game for every one to enjoy

not to be annoyed by plvling beggars

with that tax there is no way anyone can lvl up without stalling in jangan but there are only about 3 stalls in the whole town

Meh, if you want to see more proof as to how extreme plvl is, just check the party match system. On Troy, about half of the parties are all Taxis.

Anyways, plvling isn't going to kill silkroad; it's just going to breed a game with a community where everybody is either capped, or damn near capped. If anything, it might breath some life into the Job system.

If you think that's bad go to the Ishades on Venus. I'll probably get banned for spawning watchers on people but I can't help it. It pisses me off watching a huge population of 40-52 sitting in groups at almost every shade spawn watching GOLD BOTS plvl them. Half of them are actually there watching the screen.

If you're going to sit there and watch a fcking gold bot power level you with 15 other players in the same area you might as well fcking party. It's pathetic and I enjoy watching every single one of them die to watchers, come back die again, come back say fck avalon bring high lvl botted chars to kill the watchers and follow me around some using pk2 to see me.

Yes I know because I'm using target my target hot key and they have me clicked with no pills/skill. And since these gold bots seem to be run by someone else, they were not on the ban list and the shades are still crowded with lazy leechers.

At one point so many "high lvls" showed up to protect there noobs that it would have seemed like a guild war was going on in the shades. Joymax needs to take a look at their game and see that they fcked up big time. Greed......

On Venus you would be blacklisted and no member of the legit unions (BHA, Avalon, Blade and Overkill) would party with you. If you are powerleveled by a bot, you are considered a bot.

You are still benefiting from using a bot indirectly and are getting something from doing nothing. Whether it's used directly or indirectly, it's all the same to us.

Very hypocritical.

Everybody (except for few) including whoever started the thread has powerleveld before. Don't complain if you're taking advantage of it but don't want others to.

Just because you have participated in something before doesn't mean you shouldn't campaign for it's end, especially after seeing the negative effects on the game.

The fact is even the topic started has plvled/is plvling somebody. And his guild. And his union. It makes no sense to ask others to stop before stopping themselves.

BHA and avalon already have strict rules on plvling. if we send in this bug report and joymax actually listens, then the noobs will be weeded out and the skill level of the average high lvl will be greatly improved.

Even though i plvl people from time to time and have recieved plvl at low lvls i still say it should be fixed, its messed up the game.

And to be honest euro pting is way faster then plvling is.

i think it was a big mistake moving this to GD.

I must say after reading most of the replies that most of the people against pwlv are high lvs that dont realy care about any one else ( low lvs ) .
Here is what i am doing now :
I play on venus and i am lv -ing hand grinding a wiz . My target is 64 lv ( atm 33 lv) and when i get to that lv i intend on pwlv/pwfarm a nuker S/S coz my oasis s/s was a mess .
I have a ordinary static pc and a laptop and i dont see any thing wrong .

The "problem" everyone is proposing to solve is not a problem at all.
Do you realy think that gold bots are going to die once the party sistem is "fixed".
And for the new plaers beeing pwlv - ed dont know how to play the game there was a topic about what do you need to play sro and you know what it is not much i lerned to play wiz in about 2 days it is not hard at all. In my exp of sro player ( i play sro for ~ 3 years) i have played every char there is and not one of them is hard to play with . It is just mether of time to learn to play.


IN the end i must admit that when pwlv came out i was like so happy coz i was at 54 lv with my oasis char and could not play more than 2 h a day coz of school .
SO for me and my legit friends Pwlv is good and we will miss it if Jm makes ir 5+/5- !!!

imo .... plvling itself is not exactly a problem. it cant be wrong for the academy and guild/union community to help out the low levels. perhaps a better defined limit for the amt of plvl that a lowbie can get should be done. the true problem lies with botters getting plvl or botters doing the plvling.

A +/-5 level difference is far too restrictive, so how to find a happy balance?

In another older MMO not a million miles from here, it used to be possible to party any lvl of player.
Paying for pwrlvl has never been the habit there, and I've never heard of it happening, but the xp gain system works differently too, so low lvls still benefit if the mob being killed is much higher lvl than them.

A new party system was introduced which wasn't liked at first, and spawned another problem, but overall has worked very well.

Now, you can party with anyone from 2/3 of your lvl to 3/2 your lvl
eg a lvl 30 party leader can invite ppl from lvl 20 to 45;
a lvl 60 could invite those from 40 to 90

But if a new character is in your guild/clan you can party with them at any lvl

So now all the higher lvls get pestered for 'clan pls' rather than just 'party pls'

The above partying system would give fairly free range to party with those widely spaced groupings of ppl who like to grind together on whatever lvl of mobs they so choose, and it would hopefully encourage newbies to at least lvl up to a sensible point where they might be considered as guild material

It would destroy a certain proportion of the bot pwrlvling issue

How are European parties an upgrade over powerlvling? SRA is AVALON's pet and they have the pk2 so don't whine if somone uses it.

The skill of the large euro parties? The vid's I've seen and the times I dropped by on a noob char it seemed most of the ones had a higher chance of dieing due to boredom than to any real challenge from an npc. Same skills over and over same buffs same heals same tanking. Drone clone builds are all that are made.

Seriously who can't lvl up on npc equip it's not that hard

they can lvl up on npc equips but they can't lvl up without gold and new players wouldn't know another way besides stalling their drops
