Holy bent processor pins batman!

So, about an hour ago i was cleaning out the dust in my computer. I put the heatsink back ontop the cpu and then i realised something. I picked up the heatsink and there was no cpu in the motherboard. Now this confused the hell outta me since its been a month since i last took everything apart and ive been using it since then. Then i notice the damn thing is stuck to the bottom of the heatsink!

The thermal paste was held on so tight it pulled it right out of the motherboard, even though the little lock lever thingy was still down! Then to my horror i noticed a load of bent pins down one side! I must have done it when i put it back onto the motherboard

It took me an hour and some strong yet flexible wire to hook underneath all the bent pins and perfectly realine them all. I was shitting myself but i finally got it back up and running again

There is no dust between the processor and the heatsink. Why remove it.

True, but there IS dust inside the heatsink, just above the processor
To remove that it's easier to remove it.
