Best Anti-Virus/Spyware?
I've just reformatted my computer and now I have no security on it. It pains be to ask this, but what is the best anti-virus/anti-spyware program? (Perferably one that runs with little RAM usage in the background)
As of now im thinking of AVG Internet Security 8.0 and Zone Alarm PRO 7.0

Re: Best Anti-Virus/Spyware?
I used to combine AVG+zone alarm, and attempted to do the same when I switched to Vista. Zone alarm+vista had issues (couldn't close programs AT ALL, so hl2 would stay open).
I love AVG, just because its lite, but it hasnt got the best detection rate.

I'm using Zone Alarm now, I had Nod32 earlyer today, but it wouldn't let me update the virus registry or something so I uninstalled it. ZA is running at a solid 6,388k for me atm

Re: Best Anti-Virus/Spyware?
Nod32 does not detect MOST key loggers which is bad IMO. I have a friend who is a white hat hacker, he recommends "kaspersky" trust me i tried it and it detects almost anything.

Spyware = Spybot search and destroy.
And if you're clever, you wont need any programs anyway.

Symantec Anti-Virus Client.
I've never been infected with a virus since I've had it, and I go through a lot of warez, and hacking progs, so I've downloaded loads of viruses and it always picks em up and takes care of em. RAM @ 6000k never takes more than 7000k.
