$10 a gram here, $5 if you know the dealer really well (and always end up smoking your gram with him). $30 for a 1/4 ounce.

actually the best place to get weed(speaking about the quality) is here in california, or in florida. california weed comes from california and south america(which have the best climates to grow it). florida weed comes from florida and jamaica/haiti/etc(which also have the best growing conditions). lol

I knew about the the Canadian secret, probably only because I smoke it myself, and ended up getting introduced to it by fellow smokers.
also, about the price. 5-10$ a gram is very good, considering the quality of most Canadian bud. in the states, it's usually 20$ a gram, and usually no where near the same quality.

The end of the 1800s and starting of the 1900s, it grew in the wild next to roads and stuff. There's a multi-part documentary that looks at each drug, and the pot part of it talked about how weed wasn't illegal or bad, they ended up outlawing it because it was prolific with blacks and they needed another reason to throw them in prison. It showed old black and white footage of how they would literally grow everywhere - like "weeds". And then showed an old radio recording with pictures, the audio was some white guy saying how weed made blacks even more violent etc. etc.

Yeah the states have always been more expensive than Canada. I have to say, the best stuff I've smoked next to my own was in the BC area.

I don't think it has anything to do with climate and physical region. It's just that when it's from a place like BC, people don't have to worry about the law and can grow it naturally in a field, rather than in the basement of a house in the suburbs.

The idea of area's having better pot is a funny one though. It's not like if the effort was put in, all areas couldn't have good pot. Another difference is certain places have different standards. For instance, most places in America, the only standard is to pick out the big brown leaves, while in Canada, the standard is to go through and pick out most of the little stuff as well, hence better pot.

Another region with good quality is South-Eastern Europe.
Back in the days (year 2000) while I was studying in Bulgaria we made our record, 4 people smoking 5 kilos for one year.
The normal price for 10grams was like 2-3 euros.
