1) the bot way - you are then officialy a bot and no longer legit.
2) install windows twice on ur comp and use that 1 programe that lets u run 2 desktops at once. this way u stay legit and can still multi.

Bot traps are overhyped...once you need repair, you go in town, get repair and by the time you are back, all the goldbots escape, not to mention the light thief disappears.

That's why you have a friend take your gear and repair it. While your gear is gone, your friend can give you a second set, or you can carry a second set that you put on when the first needs repair.

They don't have to wait. Often times there are going to be people either in your guild or union in/around town when you are in need of repair. It wouldn't take much to ask a guildie, who is already in town repotting or repairing their own stuff, come swap your spare gear out that you already have and get it repaired.

I guess that assumes you're in a good guild where everyone trusts each other and is willing to help each other out. Isn't that the point of a guild?

Most bot traps are in Jangan, and if your guildmates are partying, not many would be willing to help you out and teleport all the way to jangan to repair your stuff. And I dont know about you, but none of my friends repot in jangan

I guess you have a point there. Might be a little easier if you own the fortress. Bot trap needs help? 'return to fortress', tele to jangan, reverse return scroll back to where you were before. Perhaps that's too much hassle too.

What kinda logic is that? The result is it's still multi-clienting or in other words using a 3rd party program to run two clients....just cause the process is longer and harder why does it make it legit?

And btw, @topic starter what assures you that noone will come kill your light npcs or even rob or kill you to ran your bot traps non-stop, you'll get over it and stop in 10minutes

2) use your wolf lvl 90 to tank the light thief
3) walk away from pc

Is it actually against Joymax's rules to multi client (log on with more than one account at the same time), or is it just against their rules to use third party software for the task? They might not want third party software to do the task because that software is capable of doing other things, like botting or zoom hacks or the like.

Is there really much difference between running multiple VMware virtual machines and running multiple real computers? In both cases, the SRO client itself is unmodified, and there is no software in use that is modifying the way the SRO client runs in any way.

Either way, I don't run more than one client anyway.
