is it really important to learn some of the bow skills?

From reading this forum, I think I'm going to have a verrrry hard time being a lightning nuker. Does anyone have any lightning nuker specific tips??

I know I'm going to need very very very good ARMOR.

not anymore. with the alchemy you can up the attack rating to your weapons, so the pacheon tree isn't needed anymore.

raise the attack rating on your weapons as high as possible... there is a lot of variance in the dmg that the lightning nuke does compared to the other nukes.

I just started playing silkroad a few weeks ago and i want a good build for a nuker. I'm just wondering if i should learn the skills from both sword and spear right away, of course considering the gap of 9. And I want to ask how many masteries should i put on those before stopping.

Just lightning won't cut it; the recharge time is just too big. Also, since you'll be attracting lots of enemies with your splash damage: get a good shield with high BR, and make sure your armor is top-notch. Get the lion shout skills to quickly damage multiple enemies you're standing in melee with.

Personally I'm using both fire and lightning. Usually just fire nuke followed by lion shot, and when I'm mugged I'll use lightning nukes and lion shots to quickly take them out. If I'm in a green/white area I may also opt for quicker killing at the cost of HP potions by using a lightning nuke to attract 3-4, 1 of which will be dead when my first lion shout hits, and the rest will die once my lightning nuke has recharged (after using my other lion shout). Giants will just get a sequence of fire nuke, lightning nuke, and a lion shout if both nukes are still recharging. While zerking the splash of the lightning nuke is often enough to kill lesser enemies nearby.

It really depends on what type of nuker you'll be. If you're going full int, after lvl 30 I doubt you'll use any weapon skills, except maybe an occasional knockdown+stab to stop KS'ers, so get as many masteries as you feel you want with regards to the passives (block for sword, HP for spear). Personally I stopped at 20 for both sword and spear, but may take more levels later if my HP is too low or if I want the multiple stabs for PvP.

If you're going hybrid, then investing in some weapon skills may be a good idea. Since I have no experience in that regards, I won't comment on which skills may be good to get.

This guide only alots fer a lvl90 cap. Is the cap still estimated to rise to 150?

I'm full INT nuker, using spear, probably going with 90lght/90fire/Spear, im curently lvl 40. I use the light imbue... its 2nd book lvl 6. I know, it's not a good idea to have light when I get in caves, but isn't it too late to resusitate those lvls and get fire?

no, you already have fire tree leveled, so all you need to do is add the imbue.. thats like what? at most 18 levels? less than 1.5 mil. 180 cursed hearts.

shrug if you do it gradually, it shouldn't be a problem

Well, my fire tree lvl is at 33 so, I just add the imbue to the 2nd book to whatever lvl correct?

I was just wondering does the demon soul arrow (pacheon skill tree) give nukers a 2meter increase range.

yepp .. the dmg increase is pretty nice

so the suggested skill lvls dont apply to the 70 cap correct? so why not just put all 4 to 70 with 20 left over? am i not getting something?

be patient and don't triple post - edit. We're all not on 24/7.

so why not all lvl 70? for one a lot of sp to farm - have fun. Second that is a lot of masteries. out of 300 you have 20 left? You're basically screwed over when they raise the cap.

The range does increase with the demon soul arrow skill. I have the skill and if I don't have the skill activated i can't nuke as far. I did a test with another nuker without the skill and I could nuke furthur than him.

Someone discounted the pacheon tree b/c alchemy can be used to increase the attack rating.

But wouldn't the increase from the hawk and the passive (at, say lv 60 pacheon) still be very helpful to a high lvl nuker?

ok i was a noob b4 and didnt understand anything in the 1st post but now i do.........is this build good?

-Pure Lightning (or do u suggest me put some on cold too for the buffs)
-Int Hybrid lvl 1-19
-Pure Int 20-
-Pure Heuksal
-Armor until after 4th degree
-Garmet after 4th degree armor
-Glavie until lvl 32 except lvl 21
-Spear starting at lvl 32

what do you think? is it gooood?

Umm. i dont understand the gap thing once u get to lvl 30 .. So wat i am asking is when u get to lvl 16 u sp farm.. get about 15-20k sp and then wat u spend it on... do u bring ur skills up to ur lvl or do we keep the 9lvl gap to lvl 30 when u get the nukes and stuff.then sp farm again.

Plz tell me..

Oh, what u said about the wolf, i think the wolf can proof extremely valuable for a nuker, at least for me it allready does..
While grinding the wolf gives a nice extra tank-possibility if u get mobbed, if u know what i mean. Ofcourse Nuker build is meant to take out mobs from distance before getting hit, but there are situations when mobs spawn in front of u... or u made the mistake going in front of a large group mobs, in case there's a big chance of dieing with ur low amount of hp. But if this situation occurs..., they will attack most of the times ur wolf first, ( if the wolf is ur lv, it doesnt die that easily), so it can really save ur life.

So, having the wolf can prevent u from being mobbed, wich i think is good enough for having one and also raising it, ( not just letting it a pup

)

i dont feel like having fire or huksal

cuz i think its useless to max a mastery for onlt 1 skill

( nukes in fire , passive in spear )
