Does Ecsro REALLY need directX9? it keeps saying i need it. When i cancel it shuts down the launcher.

BTW I already have DirectX10.

Not sure if it needs it, but my laptop already has directx9 and directx10.

BTW, people saying it takes them forever to log in I dunno what to say. I have tried logging in 3 times today and all 3 times took me less than 5 mins to log on

Anyone got a nice guild for me? BTW, how much is silk in exchange for gold ? Like I want someone to buy an item mall for me then how much gold should I pay back? esp. 1 silk = ?? gold

I even downloaded dx9.c and installed it, but the ecsro client persists on giving me that popup!

u got a wierd client there, try dl a new one.. see if it fix ur problem.

Did you download the client from silkroadaddiction? I downloaded mine from there, and even though it has trojan it still works.

I think all the clients have a trojan. It's Unavoidable Im guessing, but I did get it from silkroad addiction. So should I just redownload the installer?

The ecsro setup doesn't have any viruses (my antivirus alert me everytime that srogame_0109 its a trojan) the antivirus says that its a trojan because the client is in chinese, turn off your antivirus while you play ecsro.

That still doesn't solve my problem.
Sigh... guess I have to spend another 30 minutes on re-downloading this package.

EDITED POST: I have re-downloaded but this time it couldn't upload the media.pk2.

I also re-installed dx9.c. I need help =(

And I also need help, my computer is heavenly secured couse there are inportant things from my work on it.
So putting my anti virus off is no option.
Isn't there a version without a trojan.
Also why does everyone plays with an infected programm do yuou all wana a crash or what?

Please if someone know give me a safe trojanfree link.

Had the same problem on windows vista
just right click it on your desktop and choose in the option to run it as XP , now it has got to work...

People say that it's only a meek trojan. But it's still a trojan, but my computer isn't that great.

Lol, the ecsro setup doesn't have any trojan/viruses, if you can't turn off your antivirus you can't start the setup (if you have avast turn off standard hield).

If your using Windows Vista set the launcher to launch in Windows XP Compatibility. This was a problem in iSRO when Vista first came out but it was patched.

As you know botting isn't allowed in both server, ECSRO nor VIP.
So the GMs set a few rules about botting that u should know.
1ST TIME GOT CAUGHT - DELEVEL
2ND TIME GOT CAUGHT - DELEVEL
3RD TIME GOT CAUGHT - BAN-SABER'D FOR YOU

No gold bots though since you can buy gold and stuff at ecsro.

Hmmm ecSRO wasnt' as great as i thought it would be. Sure I got an sos drop already, but is it really worth it? The auto pot is annoying to play with because it actually presses the buttons for you. So if you are typign in the chat box, You might find some random 9090909090 from auto pot.

And all the levels are still at level 70. Therefor I cannot really test out my builds. I only have a bowman because it takes the least amount of effort.

Anyway, it has Trojans because it is using or trying to gain access to JoyMax's game/source/encrypted serer packtes/etc which was surely not given to them.

Not sure, just my 2 cents.

I am gonna try to lvl to 90 in ecsro,
Then I might go to isro untill ecsro have euro/skill update/mana shield.

any English guild out there willing to recruit me I am lvl 47 atm xD ...

I also agreed with SykoAzn auto pot system gets annoying in pvp and pills don't work..(I hope this gets fixed in the future
