GETTING "Analog No Signal" error then screen cuts out.......

Well my screen comes up With "Analog No Signal" In a blue box screen goes blank and i have to restart the computer then i can play again BUT now as soon as i log on to my account for the computer it comes up with the error. I un-pluged it for 24hrs, but it only gave me about 10mins then it cut out. I've un-plugged it now, for a while any ideas PLZ help here are my specs:

it could be various things so dont expect the first thing to work heh. first look at the pins for the monitor connecting to your computer and see if any are bent or missing. second try removing a ram stick then starting your computer again and see if this changes anything; then do the same with the other ram stick. Also try to re-seed your graphics card, (could have been loose). try these first.

it could be you monitor, mine does this too but it doesn't cut to black it just says analog in the corner of the screen. what Monitor?

Well, My Screen type is a ViewSonic VA1912 screen,Also I've tried differn't screens got a friends Acer Screen still Cut Out So its not the screen.I left my comp un-plugged for like near on 2 days(Didn't count how long :p)then I Tryed differnt types of cords I had the Blue Analog one pluged-in(the one i use)Gave me about enough time to copy 3 parts of Grando Espada . So I tryed the White Digatal One about 10-15 mins ago then it cut out as soon as I opened up My computer so..... its not the cord or the screen I think it might be the Graphics card as I've had the computer for about 2-3 yrs so The card might be on the way out .If it is the graphics card is a GeForce 8800 Graphics card good for a Hevey duty Gamer? Or could You Guys on SRF Recommend a Good Card

Beware it might afteral not be your vid card. If one piece of hardware is messed up it could cause strange problems. So you could buy an awesome new 3D card but still get problems. And yes 8800 is a nice card for some newer games (Don't expect it to max out Crysis at 1600x1200 though).

For Vid cards, I don't totally know what the newer ones are. I heard theres a 9800 out now, which is the newer high end i believe, can anyone correct me if i'm wrong?

Thx for the reply. But To Be Honest Cryis or W/E it is, I got it for Feb this year and it Sucks (yes I could play it on my system ), or the fact that I made it to the bit where your at the 4 or something houses getting ambushed by heaps of Korean Soliders :p
