Aang is the last airbender. If ever the next avatar comes in, s/he's screwed since no one will be able to teach him air bending. lulz

But what i don't understand is why does suko as his father where his mom is and why don't they show when he says where?

Aang was born the second after avatar roku died. And even if the firelord kept all the airbenders prisoner. The new benders can't learn air bending because they don't have the sky to practice on.
