that works. iamzeedevil can translate it into korean. he was the one that sent all the Quota Glitch bug reports and screenshots.

We can do this! They probably thought the quota bug reports were from Korean players. If they see massive bug reports about this written in Korean (well) they might actually fix the code in KSRO and ISRO.

I am not too keen to see the Academy fixed. In its present state, it really only benefits bots because they can just multiclient themselves a shitload of points and get SOH weaps. It will work once the plevel issue is fixed, but not before.

Some of you will perhaps remember the flaw in the game a couple of months ago when JM implanted the new verification system and all the account hacking that followed. All the boards were overwhelmed with complaints, the official forum, the bug report system, lot of players left the game, rev6 organised an official action. I'm sure that lots of people phoned to the Korean head office. JM fixed the bug and that's all. I really doubt that a petition of a hundred players will be heard. On the contrary JM will perhaps find those players too annoying and start banning accounts for that (cfr. Barotix's banning). If fly wants to change some rules concerning the party system he can ask his union members to respect that rule. If players disagree with his point of view they can always leave Avalon.

It's not hypocritical when it will effect everyone. Or would you rather him not try to make a difference and everyone has 7 capped out alts with 1mill sp? IMO it's already out of hand. Every new player sits at ongs all day and expects to get pfarmed it's ridiculous.

Parties breaking apart cause some high lvl shows up and takes half the group to run off and get easy exp.

It would help out creating a better legit community. It's probably hard as hell at times to find parties because there's either to many high lvls ksing all the decent grinding spots with their noobs or cause everyone is somewhere on a mountain/horse leeching when they could be contributing to the players who may need a certain class for a party.

There are a lot of new rules imposed by the Avalonian rulers that they didn't respect themselves when they levelled up ^^

If they aren't hypocritic they should do what they ask other players to do, accept the fact that they didn't level up legitally according to their own rules, delete their character, reroll and restart a char from scratch. It isn't funny to grind on ongs with all the taxis and bots there, but now a legit is also killed by high level legits and high levels in bot guilds summonning slave watchers (glen and zanthra killed me like that a couple of times, didn't even ress me) or dragging thieves with AOE over there or other "funny" stuff.

This thread isnt about the right or wrongs of the powerlevel system, its about the impact this would have on the servers if that system where to be removed, Trust me Avalon can still benefit from the system thats inplace now, Powerlevel members to level up there new guilds is just one example,
But they are looking at the bigger needs of the server over personal needs of the player,

As for saying we can not make a Effect from sending in bug reports, than please re-read the first post in this topic, The quota bug was fixed with the exact same method!

We're not saying power lvlig is a NO.. and we don't have any rules against it except if you're getting power lvled by a bot that's another thing.. We're talking about fixing the system to it affects legits and botters at the same time.. Sure it benefits legits at its current state now some how but thinking about the long run benefits, it would be benefiting the bots more...

What a funny statement Ygraine. When Avalon started on the server, there wasnt anyone higher level than us to DO any PLing. PLing is rather rare in our union even today because PLing makes weak PVPers and I dont really like it.

Yeah, good try. We started on this server when it was released. Oh Please Mr GM, plvl pls, 10k pls. >___>

As for benefitting Avalon, that noob who hasn't played his character is as useful before he got powerlevelled. It's like giving a guy pesticide and hoping he knows to wear a mask while spraying it.

I think what Ygraine is talking about night, is powerleveled alts. Most if not all the higher levels in Avalon union and some in BHA have alts that were powerfarmed.

hmm i dont think a 5 lvl restriction would be good for some pts... maybe a 10 lvls restriction. it will stop powerlvling and still allow powerparting. but yeah, imo powerlvling should stop. its very hard to find low lvls parties (2x pts) and low lvl weapon/gears too cause everyone skips those lvls through horse humping :x

that's true.. I don't believe they'll listen to us bec simply when a bot power lvls his noob, he buys silk for him, or prolly for both if he's a CCFer.. but if power lvling is stopped some how, bots will only bot their char and quit the game right after.. JM will be losing money...

JM will not care about a petition. If you try to kick JM's ass too much they'll probably kick you out of their database without any further explanation. It's like that since years and I don't see why they should change their philosophy.

/shrug shoulders mode off

(and I was indeed referring to the alt chars levelled up by legits with the help of a second, third, fourth computer, computer of the kids, computer of the employer, ...)

Honnestly fly, it's easy for you to say that, but yet, did you apply those rules to yourself when you were on your way to lvl 80 and then to lvl 90? Did you think about the legits who are pfarming alts? Cause yeah, you used to pfarm accounts such as MorganLaFay (nightbloom's alt) 2 weeks ago but now I guess you're done with pfarming and you decided to apply the rules, it wouldn't affect any of your friends anymore ^^.

basically I mean you didn't bring up that stuff while you were pfarming your alts cause then you'd be part of the self-pwn contest =)

Also, if you apply the +5/-5 party system to venus, you'd pwn the pt system a bit too cause for example, general parties start at lvl 64 and end at lvl 75 or so, thats 11 lvls. If the leader of the pt is lvl 64, then people above lvl 69 couldn't join. If the leader is lvl 75, then people below lvl 70 couldn't join.

Whatever, killing the plvls would require sacrifices that personaly think are useless and i think theres a way around. Go read my other comment on the first page instead of ignoring it, i got another good point.

I don't agree with this rule.

hmm about that petition?

JM never cared about that kind of stuff. If fly and nb want a petition they can start a new threat, post the text themselves and ask players to sign and send it to JM themselves. It's a bit hypocritic to try to find others to do that stuff in their place
They have their own website.
