Hybrid Build

Post by vmj »

I have a lvl 12 Hybrid and I put all my stat points in str untill lvl 11 I put 3 stat points in and at lvl 12 I divied my stat points 1 in str and 2 in int. Right now I'm sp farming so I have my bow to lvl 5 but When I get to 30k + of sp, I'm switching to sword or blade. So what is the best way I to create a very effective Hybrid build and which weapond should I go with sword or blade with this Hybrid build?

Well I heard int/nuker does a lot of dmg. I supose when it comes to Hybrids is ether a str that can do more damage than a pur one or a more powerful str char. I guess a nuker.

If your hybrid int you have a shield/sword or a spear.

The 90% magic balance is a very solid hybrid build. IMO it is comparable to the more popular "pure" builds.

My current char I'm going to try a somewhat lower 85%-ish balance, just to screw around with weapon skills. I don't really care about power as long as it's fun ^^V

Wow. That is wrong, do not listent to him.

My friend is a 1:2 hybrid int, lvl 68 atm too. Also, a MOD, SuicideGrl.

His build is awsome, sure he doesn't do as much dmg as a full int, but he sure as hell can last longer in a fight.

Yes actually your right....
Pure INTs die really fast when they get mobbed(i know for fact lol).
The best thing to do is just be a pure INT till you reach 95% mag balance and then add 1 STR/2 INT every time you lvl up so that you wont lose your magic balance and still raise your HP
Or....for spear/glavie users: Waste some SP on the bottom skill becuz it adds HP(not str points).

Yea I could be wrong, since I've never seen a Hybrid in Action. But from what i've seen in this game its either Pure Str or Pure Int.

First: There’s absolutely nothing wrong with hybrids, if build the right way they can be very powerfull.

I myself have a 90% hybrid nuker. And personally I think it’s great, and proven by Suicidegrl: very strong. It has the benefits of a pure int (fast levelling, high damage, easy kills in pve) and sure does last longer in pvp then a pure int (due to the extra strength points added, u get more HP). Make sure you keep your Magical balance around 90% and you’ll have a good hybrid char.

meh , I am only a fan of hybrid int w/ more than 80 % balance. That's like a glaiver with sos + 9 glaive. It doesn't last long , but sure does some dmg.
A hybrid with 80 ++ % mag balance is like a rpc car with a very powerfull battery for only 2 minutes while a pure str glaive has an average battery but will last much longer. And yeah , later with 13k hp it really does matter how long you live.
I bot.

Edit, misunderstood you.

You are talking about HP. Ah, well due to the new alchemy and the already added extra strength points. Int-based hybrids can gain a respectable amount of HP (7k or more) and still do a lot of damage. So when u have such a char, it would be a serious threat to a pure str char. Of course there will always be crit’s and stuff, and int-base hybrids use allot of weapon skills, so will have crit’s to. To sum this lot up, Int-based hybrids balanced higher then 80% are not just 2min batteries.

I know someone who added like 1k+ hp to their gear with the new Alchemy.
