I'm not exactly able to do 8-man, with any build, so I stick to solo. Also I don't PVP very much so I'm guessing cleric would be a better sub for me. I have bard right now but can delevel it since it's not very high yet.

The thing that confuses me somewhat, is since I'm an STR, wouldn't an STR build be better as a sub? I think bard, warlock, and cleric are all INT builds aren't they?

Yea with a cleric subclass you can have recovery division, holy word, & bless which are all really good. I think cleric is the best subclass for a str.

You could go full melee and add warrior subclass, but it'll be basically that full melee you won't have much to fall back on defence wise.
Well you don't add every skill. Obviously only the ones you need. You wouldn't add attack skills. Only buff/ debuff types.

Yeah it does sound like cleric would be a better subclass than bard for a rogue. I just like bard for the moving march and noise skills. I like keeping aggros away from me, but from what I've read, after lvl 40, I should switch to daggers and then noise won't be as useful (as it is with xbow), and speed can be accomplished through potions, unless clerics have a speed buff too?

After level 40 you switch to daggers for PvP. Xbow is still the dominant force in PvE. Personally I think mixing xbow and dagger in PvP is better.

Since I don't really PVP, maybe I should stop leveling dagger skills altogether.

I agree though that switching between xbow and dagger in PVP is better. There's not much point in firing off bolts if your target is inches away from you.

So the conclusion is xbow for pve with extreme, dagger for pvp without dd...
