ego, lets use an example. InMySight. He was going to quit when he found out Rik was botting. Then he got his ass kissed by BHA and jumped ships to a guild that allows friendly terms with botters. IMS is Riks ONLY friend on venus. They both came from xian. So now you got a "legit" guild supporting a bot supporter. That bot supporter in return is the only tie Rik has left in venus. So pretty directly, BHA is responsible for MagicRik still being on Venus. Lets go to the indirect harms thats doing. Rik is the ONLY euro in the archangels union that can use his build. So now AA and Epic are able to ks uniques. They are able to put up a fight in wars. And they benefit from a strong wizard cleric.

Okay. Perfect example. Here's the problem: I want to see a rule. The confederacy was established to create rules that we would all agree on. If, as a group of legits, we agree that you cannot chat with botters then that's fine. If we agree that you can chat with them but your chat must contain exclusively insults, then that's fine as well. If we agree that you can't buff a botter in PvP, I want to see that rule established. Personally, I'm 100% in favor of those rules but until we develop them, they can't be enforced. We're just making it up as we go along. Let's say that the only thing IMS does with Ric is chat with him while in-game. If we decide that's a ban-able offense, then we get evidence and boot him.

Look, this is the lawyer in me. Every problem gets solved as follows: 1) Issue, 2) Rule, 3) Application and 4) Conclusion. In a dictatorship, there is no rule of law so you jump from Issue to Conclusion. I want us to agree on the rules and then apply them. We're fighting over conclusions and then can't back-track to hear ourselves speak.

Overall, I do agree with Fly about what is undoing the work. Now, I know I may not know all of you and most of my facts are from here, but it's still enough to draw my conclusions. I a lot of people are being friendly with the bots, and that single-handedly is undoing what has been done. I also realise that people can't control everyone and there will be people on both sides of the fence doing it.

Before jumping in and saying, "You can't say that about _______", look at yourself. Are you, have you, or do you be friendly to botters? A simple hello is all it takes. You give them attention, and because you're part of the legit community, they feel accepted. The whole reason they're sticking around, is because those simple actions make them feel accepted.

From my understanding, BHA have been saying hello to a lot of bots. You know, just being friendly people. That small thing on a large scale has a huge impact. Not to mention over the last few months we've had;

- bot powerlevel scandels
- gold-buying scandels

and well, it's not quite so nice. All I'll say to close is that before I had to stop playing, every member of Avalon union knew what to do. Some didn't agree with it, but they saw and knew that it worked. Please, look at what has been done by people, not just in the last few days or the last few weeks, but look at the last few months. You're now starting to see the bigger ripples after throwing that rock into the lake.

Our members own bot plevelees, own bots in pvp, etc. We just don't do it 24/7. We aren't militant like Avalon.
We rather have fun and party with each other. We kill bots on our time whenever WE want. We are carebears to Avalon because we aren't as hardcore as they are when it comes to shit talking to bots and killing bots. I have better things to do. I will setup a bot trap, own bots in pvp, and kill bot plevelee parties when I feel like it. This doesn't mean I'm being nice to them.
