I've seen it. I don't believe its the best anime ever but I believe its one of the best. No, they shouldn't resume the series.

This is coming from a guy who doesn't watch anime alot: Deathnote made me an anime freak

Only 30+ episodes and i was into the moment every episode. I wish there was more. The movie wasn't spectacular.

Try some Hellsing, Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop, Shigofumi (Highly Underrated), Kaiba and Kara no Kyoukai.

popular series does not equal good.

It had you hooked from the first episode.

These are the 10 best in my opinion. In no particular order.

Full Metal Alchemist
Gantz
Evangelion
Claymore
Samurai Champloo
Princess Mononoke
Inuyasha
Death Note

Can't name 10... I seen so many but these are the ones that really stood out. Maybe I can think of 2 more later. Would put Naruto up there if there weren't more fillers than episodes progressing the story...

u should watch beyond the clouds OVA for quality anime. if u like mech and lesbians, watch kannazuki no miko, mai hime, and mai otome.

I dont think the fillers were there to progress the story at all dude...
they were there (and still are) to delay the "real" story since the anime was catching up too fast with the manga.

Worded that a bit wrong... but what I meant is that they help add more depth to the characters and you get to see what they are like in different scenarios.

Death Note was one of my favorites animes. It started to go down hill when L died but was still a good anime nevertheless.
