It made complete sense to me... but then again I have gone through 4 years of Psychology/English, which definitely makes it easier (hint: It's a very large framed emotional message).

And large framed emotional messages are framed in different ways for each culture. The japanese seem to commonly like to portray them with war/genocide/suicide.

I prefer the dub when they both have horrible voice acting since you don't have to read subtitles the whole time but I guess I'm the only one lol

It was okay, the plot wasn't too intriguing. The opening was worth it though, real cool video and real cool song. Sometimes I kinda felt like it was getting too cheesy with all the crying they did and the lack of cool visuals.
