No stereotypes are definitely created by ppl passing judgment. This can range from something simple like Asians are bad drivers to something ludicrous like black people have tails both of which were at some point common stereotypes. In the case of the former is it fair or right it it becomes a stereotype that asians are bad drivers because someone sees an Asian driving badly, regardless of the other equal if not worse drivers on the road. If the picture is funny because its a group of black ppl dressed and posed foolishly thats a bit bigoted. If the picture is funny because is a group of ppl dressed and posed foolishly attempting to sell a car thats not bigoted. See the difference. I would probably be able to look at the picture and laugh if i knew ppl were laughing with me instead of at me.

Based on that you could easily confirm that white ppl if they lived their daily lives without media influence would have no reason to fear minorities because most of the crimes minorities commit are against one another. If you take away the 6oclock news and Cops you'd probably be left, based on statistics, with the feeling that most white ppl are criminal since they are the ones much more likely to commit a crime against you.
