It's a cycle. People get so greedy for +9 they would try +10. It has no extra glows just a slight power boost, too slight for the risk. Again I've seen it FARRRR too many times of people not satisfied enough with what they got they go higher till it breaks, regrets, and most of the time quits.
It's happened....so many times.

That's what I thought when I had the only +7 warlock rod in 80 cap. I saw more and more with +7 weapons and I said screw it, +7 is the new +5 so I tried for 8 and it failed.
I regretted it since and now im more careful when it comes to alchemy. If +10 isn't unique enough for you then go ahead and risk it all for one higher +.

OT: theres been +15 and the fool was stupid enough to go for +16!?!? Besides it doesn't matter how many more times you plus that weapon you can still 1-click-crit someone whether its +10 or not. i say live with it dude, cause if you fail you will never forgive yourself.
