Btw, i've experienced the worst thing on SRO. I dropped my 85+7 harp when i got killed by a giant while soloing.

Ouch, that sux. I presume you were holding your staff when it happened? I usually use a level 1 harp whenever I play cleric, just to avoid such a thing from happening. I put my 9D SOS harp in my squirrel at those times.

Congratulations! I'm green with envy now, though I must say that lately I've been asked by a lot of level 85+ parties to keep their MP up, so it looks like my leveling should take a sprint as well.

lol i feel ur pain... dropped my harp while soloing on wiz twice...
first time a unionmate was close, second time, not so lucky.

but i'm still only 82..

a little more hopefuly right now as i'm using a sos 76 harp, and from experience i've still yet to drop a piece of sox over thousands of deaths (delevelling at ongs).

i've got the same build but i'm wiz main. starting to enjoy the fast nature and higher damage abs from bard tho. have a 85 harp with 80% mag waiting to be +5ed.

bards are nice ONLY when the party is pro and have another bard or else all you do is try to run from mobs while everybody else attack mobs on sight and spam "resss" later

bards should be used when you have a constant party to train with (same ppl)

Are u speaking from experience? Bards dont need to run from mobs because we have noise skill. And we dont do much support dmg until there's another bard until lvl 89. Because at lvl 90, u can nuke whenever u want because of Mana Orbit.

I'd correct something.

At lvl 80, u will get around 66% MP increase when Harp is equipped.

Bards have exactly 1/2 more mana than other people (only when harp is equipped). Create a level 1 character, you'll see. He'll have 200 HP and 300 MP. Now level up. Your mana will be 212 (if I'm right) without harp and 318 wearing a harp.

Overall, a great guide.

You can eighter grint at mobs that you can 1 hit/2 hit, so they don't get near you or some higher level monsters under the same condition (kill them before they get to you).

Bards are not great at 1 vs 1, that's why I didnt make that kinda video. Bards will do increadibly great in a party hence the fortress war videos.

I cant answer that as i'm not thinking 1vs1 at all. I'm always in a pt. Switching to warlock will make my tambour down and the pt will lost 41% dmg absorbtion even for 5-10 seconds it is still a big lost to have. The tanks will get 1 shotted from wiz with LT. Tanks died = ints might died too.

I'm a person who always think about pt play. Not 1vs1. The days of 1vs1 is over. This is Euro. We go in party. We play in party. We're best in a party.

Hallo BardCore. Thx for the super cool thread. But im asking one thing. Which one is better subclass? Wiz or Cleric for Bard? If i make Cleric i have pretty cool defence inb high lvls and sopmething else good things. But Wiz have those attacks which make it very useful, so can u help me?

See? u still thinking 1vs1 / solo. Better def with cleric for you means u get it from cleric buffs? If you wanna be a bard in a party, stick to bard. If you want to be a cleric sometime in a party, get a cleric sub. If you sometime want to be a wiz in a party and can solo effectively, get wizard. When u're a bard in a party, be it support bard or battle bard, u dont need to be have cleric sub since u will get cleric buffs from the main cleric in the party. If you have a wiz sub, u can still use the teleport skill which will make u super fast on top of your fast bards nukes. It's all depend on you and what u want to contribute in a party. Dont think 1vs1. Think party play.

On mmosite I think I saw something about a skill like noise, but in a further lvl that makes u and ur party members unnoticable by monsters, is this true?

Yup, party noise at lvl 100. It would be great to have it.

go plvl anywhere you want no problems

plus well, it would be good to traders too, have 1 trader or hunter use it and aside from theives, its a smooth ride
