Who Says Bots are that bad?

So i was just walking around in hotan looking for a new sword when i get a pt request from some random dude. I noticed it was exp share,so i accepted and everyone in the pt was 85+ so i thought to myself, hey free lvling!I also thought that they must be botting thats why they havent kicked me by now.




I only blocked their names so they wouldn't get flamed or anything.

Anyone had something similar like this happen to them before? Where they could exploit a bot?

Funny thing is, 99% of legits are assholes in game, and douche bags. The botters i knew were always cool, course you always have the high lvls who think they are gods in real life cause their char is capped.

You don't have a very broad view of things nor bother to actually read the thread for what it actually is, now do you? The majority of people, obviously you included, have this narrowminded view that anybody that bots is a shallow ****, immoral, completely incompetent, and a socially inept individual. This thread merely points out that botters aren't. Never did we state that botting is just fine, acceptable, or that we didn't give a **** about botters in the first place.

But without the bots you couldn't get that free exp. You are using a bot to help you grind. The bot does his thing and thus you get free exp. In principle its the same as power leveling. You can be power leveled and still be legit, same with grinding. Both are using a bot to help you get exp.

A pt would get full either a bot or a legit would take the spot and the bot would get a full pt theres no difference if the bot is in your pt or not you and the bot would still get the same exp.

By your reasoning we wouldnt be able to buy anything from stall network because a bot might be selling drops from his bot session.

The way I see it;

Botters have more time for other stuff and relaxing activities..
Legits have to play pretty much 24/7 and with this poor game design you can't help but to be frustrated..

So basically nice people are botters

But in all seriousness, there is no ingame moderation apart from some very, and I mean very, crappy chat filter. So everyone is free to be an asshole to whatever extent they wish. That's where the problem is..

Lemme make this easier for all you chaps, as discussion isn't gonna get anyone anywhere at the current state this thread has managed to arive at.

SRF population:
1: Hardcore cultish legits. Nothing is legit cept the way they play it.
2: True Legits. They don't bot, and they don't buy gold, and they might not use 3rd party programs.
3: General Legits. Play the game legitimately [no bot], but play it to enjoy. Some friends are botters, but who cares; we're here to play and have fun.
4: Botters. The majority on the forum.
5: Botting Legits. Hypocrits who pretend to be #1.

Arguing amongst these 5 groups is pointless; at the state where we currently have arrived, being "legit" has become a religion.
