the higher level you are the more xp you loose, but more xp = less % if that makes sense, for example if you die at lvl 20, since you need less xp to level you will loose like 2% xp. But im level 85 and when i die from mob i only loose like 0.05%, because i need like 190mil xp to level

Did a warrior buff you? Quota deaths don't make you lose exp, I think...something like that.

Untill lvl 10 you dont loose anything.
After lvl 20 you'll loose 2%,
From lvl 60 and higher you won't loose 2% but it's getting less and less. Im lvl 68 now and only loose like 0.60%

The 2% thing is for murdering people..not dying to mobs.

Dying off a level 1 murderer status = 2% exp..unless my memory fails.

Really? I once with an old char (think it was lvl 38 or somthing) i accidentally killed another player who just took of the cape when my nuke struck. I lost like 10% before the stupid murder status disappeared. =_= Don't remember exactly how many %s but i do remember that it was a lot of exp. Anyone has an idea why i lost so much or is it normal perhaps?

iirc, ur first murder will net u 1000 murder points, and each death to a player would take away 200 points, so u'll have to die 5 times for ur murder status to disappear. if each death takes away 2%, then 10% sounds right.

Thats correct that you loose less % after 60,70 and 80 lvl. But correct me if Im wrong but I think that you loose less exp if you die in 1/8 party than 1/4 party.
I think that I lost 1% at 50 lvl when I died in 1/8 party and later when I was soloing I lost regular 2%, or that was bug.

did u get haxed? i typically die from quota b4 the mob would b able 2 make the final hit so i lose no exp and the cleric can res =P

Nah, it's 1200 points for your first murder and it takes away 2% for dying off all the points. Tested recently as you can see below..

I hate when ppl atk me while I'm grinding. After that, the mob kills me. I only wear my pvp cape cuz it hides my fugly hat and it looks cool
