Warrior Cleric

Post by Carbunkle »

im just wondering, my warrior's cleric side doesn't use any damage moves, only buffs, so will the buffs be effected if i don't buy a high level cleric rod, and keep a level 1 cleric rod equipped?

Most healing spells have magical dmg reflect, so how higher your mag dmg on your rod is, how more you will heal.

Also the overhealing series (overhealing/glut healing) are constant dmg so you can lvl those, they are nice for killing wizards with bless/screens etc because it goes right through that.

so........

i've heard 2 things about % reflect

1) % reflect actually reflects the magical damage of the character and not only the weapon's mag dmg

2) it only takes into account the weapon's mag dmg

which is it?

With Recovery Division, if you switch to another weapon while you have the buff on. Does the mag attack of the rod you casted the buff with count, or does the mag dmg of the weapon you have equiped at the moment count?

The magic attack of the rod , you had equipped , when you were casting buff , counts.
So ... If I cast RD with 4th degree Cleric Rod , it will still have the same effect when I
switch to 1h sword , xbow or staff.

OK, thanks for the info.
I don't like it that you can still cast recovery division after you switched weapons, because of that, full clerics are less nescesary. :(

Yup yup ... someone started a topic named - "the game should be fixed" ... It was about how full str has the
same chance of debuffing other guy , as it has full int ...

Same thing happens with Cleric ... most of skills dont require points in Int. , or they do good
enough without points in Int. the only problem is MP bar.

Yeah, cleric'ing with a STR eeezz gaiii. I hate it because one healing skill takes up basically all of the mp. Then add that with pot delay = ftl. :'( But I can live with it. xP

when u use cleric stuff use mana grains to conserve mp since they only have a 5 second cool down.
and healing cycle and recovery are your best friends.

Grains arent that effective when you have small MP pool ...
Its not the same to see Vortex with 26k HP spamming Vigor grains + HP grains (recharging 13k every 4 seconds) , and someone with 8k MP (recharging 4k MP per 4 seconds) ...

And 4k MP is nothing ... this includes Vigors ...
Without vigors its 2k MP per 4 seconds ... which is for caster nothing ...
