QFT, he is just trying to lend a hand to those who want sigs done in a flash. Originality is not an issue here, is there? If those backgrounds are open for use to anyone then why not use them? Try to be more kind to people who help others out...

I'm not an artist myself and I am not aware about any "copyright" or "trademark" rules you may have but I don't see others making an issue out of his creations.

Everyone bashing uber, in the artist forum community, the background originality, etc, is a big deal. Like...you get beaten up for it and shit. It's not a big deal if you don't care but within the community it's something they get real aggro about. He's just pointing it out.

Plagiarism should not be tolerated. As long as you don't grab other people's sig, change the text, and say it's yours, you're fine.
