My current wireless provider is Rogers Wireless (Canada).

I have been wanting to purchase a Blackberry Pearl 8100 off of Ebay for quite some time now. In canada, they are over 400-500$ to buy, while on ebay you can get brand new ones for under 200$.

Rogers does offer the 8100.

My question is, if I buy the Pearl off Ebay, and put my SIM card in the pearl, will it work? I am quite certain it will since the pearls are GSM phones and are unlocked, I just want some reassurance.

The phone I am looking for is branded with T-Mobile, however that should not matter seems the phone is unlocked.

I dont know about Canada, but when My blackberry didnt work in Egypt. Iam not really sure about canada, For the best answers try to call a phone store
