Warlock Prot or Robe

Warlock Cleric build.
I seen Fug's guide. Recommended gear was Robe for the mag defense and also mana saving.

I assume that warlock cler is a solo build, taking prot will enhance surviability greatly isn't it? Most mobs attack are phy based.

As for the mana saving, solo warlock seldom runs out of mana, even with 15sec pot delay, its enough to keep mana up.

PvP wise, taking Robe will increase your mag defense but its still not enought to counter Wizzies' massive damage output? also it puts u in danger against Rogue...

So... isn't Protector better overall?

well imo robes would be better for pve, since the mobs that are physical are usually not ranged, so u should be able to kill them by the time they reach u... and the magical mobs usually use range attacks... also well i used to run out of mana all the time when i used medium pots but maybe thats cause my Auto pot % is at 35

I had my pot set at 70%, so yea...
However, I die alot with Garm, especially going against giant and suddenly a champ spawned... n ur dusk armor agro more on u >___>

I prefer robes even as a hybrid.

It really depends what you grind on. If your farming on something like nachals or sonars of mages for a long period, robes are the obvious choice.

Myself i think the cleric sub, bless + healing cycle + RD + your vampire abilities should be enough to keep you alive with robes. Also when you switch to cleric for a bit of healing ( last resort kinda thing ) the cleric passive should help out there.

robes cuz they're hot
