thats what i thought too....i dont like how they changed how players equip stuff. players have waaay longer arms so obby shield doesnt look good anymore. rune armor looks stupid because it makes u look...too rubbish. and full helms are huge now. looks like we all have big heads

of course its not. Unless jagex wants to make more revenue than with just 12 year olds with dial-up connections, its going to have to use a graphics engine or something. Sure, almost anyone can play it, thats why its still getting revenue, but after a few years when people grow up and they get sick of the graphics, they will look for a 3D game. Honestly, the graphics of runescape make your eyes bleed when you know there are so many better free online games out there

Indeed, and @ Jstar1, kids are the future of all gaming companys.
People grow up, the companys realise that and they must make, in some way, sure that they will keep getting new people playing their game. If you have a game full of 'oldies', it will die fast. New players keep the game refreshed.

Well thats exactly the point. No MORE good gameplay. What is the point of lvling up? To NOT fight other people in wildy? NOT have fun risking it all in duel arena, NOT trading over 3k? As far as im concerned the only fun gameplay of the game is no longer present, which means the game is useless.

Imo Bount is for clans,so is Clan Wars.
Fist of Guthix is more a rush and kill game.

2-3 hit lv 30's in addy and then go hide in the crowd at the center lol OR
you run for your life from the lv 120+ and hope that you got more charges then him

If im not rong,event's like Fist of Guthix give's at least to the non-member's the opportunity to have other armor's than the usual robe/full rune/full green dragon

meh they ruined RS imo when they made it pvp safe to be outta lumby...

only place you were safe was in lumby or semi-safe in varrock where the guards would (try) to protect you =P

Does anyone know of a game that uses a similar skilling system to runescape? (ability to level up stats other than strength, attack, defence etc and level up stats like woodcutting and mining, cooking for example), as this was one of the main things that kept me playing Runescape, I've been unsuccessful in finding something similar.
