To many people complain about the way anime looks. But guess what, the most commonly known styles are inspired by western cartoons.

Then again, the style is also determined by genre and demographic. Big eye's are much less common these days.







Anime in the past and future looks completely different. Reason being that the trade off is looks or the smoothness of the animation. Plus budgets and shit completely change.

Many styles of anime out there, some better looking other. Some more surreal than others. Plot is another story.
