pokemon when there were only 150.
then they milked the series too much, now theyre up to like 400, have 10 different movies out, have multiple games on a variety of platforms and some dont even have anything to do with the series (breeding..mystery dungeon...talking pokemon..you taking pictures of pokemon..?)
not only that, but pikachu hasnt died yet. Everyone knows rodents only have a life span of about 3 years.

I remember when the first pokemon movie came out i nearly creamed myself, and i got a cool promo mew card with holographic hieroglyphics.

Yeh the old 1st series was the best...after that it sucked so bad I actually can't watch pokemon anymore it's like acid to my eyes.

Pokemon was the beast when only the 1st season was out (150 Pokemon, and the Mewtwo Vs. Mew Movie). After that like the guy above had said, they "milked" the series way to much. After that ehh, all the kids grew out of it.



BTW: My favorite after Pokemon was Yu-gi-oh.. it "was" the shit. I remember all the kids on my block had em, and we used to always trade each other cards, and duel and stuff. Lol I remember this one adult guy lived in our apartment complex, that worked at a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament place, and had like every card. Full Exodia and everything. We all used to always duel him, but could never beat him. We later found out long time later he cheated lol.

Ren and Stimpy played a pretty big part in my childhood cartoon experience lol. That and Beavis and Butthead.

Recently I saw an episode of this show called Flapjack on the Cartoon Network, I laughed my ass off. Its got that old freaky and funny style. Same with Chowder. Odd and weird ass cartoons like that are funny to me.

pff I don't remember the name but it was an epic cartoon.

A ship carrying zoo animals got stranded and the animals made it to an island. On the island there were some other animals, a polar bear and some mammoths.
They all hated humanity so they wanted to get to some sort of safe haven, the utopia for animals.

The island they were on had a volcano as well and they used the lava to steer/propel the island.

On their way to this utopia they pick up all sorts of other animals and the cartoon just gets better every episode.
I loved it so much

It's still on the telly, honey.. and that utopia is called Diamntina...

I loved it too, saw it again recently...
