I really can't tell if this is a better-than-average pun that you did intentionally or just something I noticed.

OT: I doubt you'll still want to change your name to Ice when you actually reach 18 unless you get swept up in the music biz, make an album, hit number one, OD, the end up on the surreal life.

i am turning 18 in about 2 months and is something i am seriously planning on doing, the name is questionable and that is why i am looking for a serious last name to go with it

Seriously consider it though. The probability of working for a suit is high; now imagining walking into that office and having the person go, 'Hello um... (looks at resume) Ice.' The novelty will wear off.

no offense but Ice is just not a cool name to me, it actually sounds like some guy trying to hip it up like some gangster super star but fail to do so. Also it has been way way over used over the years by the hip hop community

I think you are better off keeping your original name, furthermore, your parents will be sad

because they thought really hard for a nice name just for you, and you change it the moment you turn 18. sad really.
