Well, I dont believe that it will actually be an apocolypse but people in that tim peroid payed alot more attention to the elements start and stuff becuase they didnt have the distractions that we do today. i think Global warming which is happening we're not causing it though. its gonna be like a reset type thing... thats what i believe if anything is going to happen i think thats what will happen.

After I've seen some of the drastic effects more in detail about global warming I believe it's happening quite quickly. Look up the glacial melt rates over the last decade, it's nuts.

I was on the train earlier and picked up a 'Volkskrantmagazine' and there was an article about 2012 in it.

These people have lost it, like totally lost it

One of them was protesting against immigrants because all these immigrants would need houses and that would make Holland heavier and then Holland would go even more below sealevel.
According to her Holland would be under water and therefor she needed a high, safe spot so what she came up with was... a raft!

I kid you not!
The world is going to break open, volcano's will make the land red and dead, the north and south pole will switch positions.. QUICKLY! GET TO THE RAFT!

There are MANY many many many events in history, and its natural for people to link an event in the history to some random prediction made in the past just because human brain likes to.

If I lived 1000 years ago and made a random prediction about the rise of "a idiotic moron who lead his country to fall" then it could possibly related to any leader, anybody. Also, we tend to remember those predictions that did come true (or we assumed it came true because we happened to relate one event in history to the prediction), rather than the ones which didn't come true, which should outnumber the ones that did.

So in the end, I think its all considence, or he studied human psychology too much.
