Not so fast there, Cowboy. Before joining an Alliance, you need an Embassy. Before being able to construct an Embassy, you need to research Foreign Cultures.

Also, change the name of your town by going to your Town Hall. At the top, there should be a button that allows you to rename your city.

Hahaha, ouch. That's why it's always best to spy out a place first if you see that they have a decent military score. You don't want to get all your units killed for nothing.

Euhm guys...about the researches...they are going a little crazy in the research periods...i mean some researches are taking a day and two and i just looked around and some more advanced researches take over 70 days to research

Sure, upgrade the academy so you can have more scientists helping out with research.
The first 3 upgrades should be easy.

Same here. But I don't think it will be a problem with the resources coz you can gather them all if you have at least 1 city in a particular island. The problem will be the upgrade of warehouses. It's taking too long now.

I think that the biggest problem is upping your GM's once you get that 4th colony. It's going to cost you about 250k wood total to get that 4th colony, and the rest corruption-free, yeah?
